[Detailed explanation of the invention] This invention is based on the ash that is used when cleaning and purifying the hearth in tea ceremonies such as tea ceremonies, or when sweeping away ashes and dust that have fallen on the Gotoku (ash type) or the front pottery. It is about feathers.

Traditionally, in tea ceremonies, when cleaning the hearth or removing ashes from the Gotoku and front pottery, a Taki-broom is commonly used. This Taki-broom is made by bundling straw into a feather-like shape and has a large diameter base that serves as a grip. It is wrapped in string or bamboo skin, and the feather part is used for purification. However, this grip broom is relatively large, and the impact of its operation may cause the front pottery to move slightly or even tilt. It may even damage the ash mold. Furthermore, if the feather part becomes damaged after long-term use, it is almost impossible to clean the broom and the entire broom needs to be replaced with a new one. Furthermore, it is large and has the disadvantage that it is difficult to store it in a tea ceremony utensil box or the like along with other utensils.

The purpose of this invention is to provide a ash feather that overcomes these conventional drawbacks. That is, this invention is characterized by a combination of a tubular body and a bird's wing. The tubular body has a certain length and forms a handle part to be grasped by hand, and the bird's wing is attached to this tubular body. It is constructed by inserting and removing one or more pieces. For the tubular body, metal materials are desirable, and among them, copper materials, which are in harmony with the tea ceremony, are preferred.

Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the ash feather of this invention, in which 1 is a tubular body (hereinafter referred to as metal tube) made of a metal material, such as copper, and is set to a certain size, specifically, 4 cm in length, 6 mm in outer diameter, and 4 mm in inner diameter. This tubular body, or metal tube 1, forms a handle that can be grasped with the fingertips. 2 is two or three bird feathers inserted into the inside of this metal tube 1, and as shown in Figure 2, the core 2S of the feather 2 is inserted into the metal tube 1. The two or three bird feathers may be bundled together, or may be inserted separately one by one.

The ash feathers completed in this way are used, for example, to remove ash and dust from the trivet 4 and front pottery 5 when making the ash mold for the wind furnace 3, as shown in FIG. The haibane is lightweight and small and can be easily moved within the wind furnace 3, and does not give any impact to the front pottery 5 or the like. Furthermore, after long-term use, the outer surface of the metal tube 1 becomes glossy, which is in harmony with the elegance of a tea ceremony. If the wing 2 is damaged due to long-term use, it is removed from the metal tube 1 and a new wing is inserted.

Although this invention is as explained above, it is not limited to the above-mentioned and illustrated examples, but includes various modified embodiments. for example,
Although the tubular body has been described as a metal tube, it is not limited to metal materials, and may be made of synthetic resin materials, such as plastic materials or vinyl chloride materials, as long as it does not degrade the quality of the tea ceremony. In the case of metal materials, copper materials are desirable for the reasons mentioned above, but the material is not limited to this, and iron materials, silver materials, and copper alloy materials can also be used. Moreover, the number of blades (number) may be one if it is large and is not limited to two or three. Furthermore, the other end of the tubular body where the blades are not inserted may be closed.

Since the tea ceremony ash feather provided by this invention is as described in detail above, it is small and lightweight, and is easy to grasp, making it easy to carry out cleaning work. Moreover, the impact is small, eliminating the fear of causing the front pottery to move slightly or damaging the ash mold. Furthermore, even if the feathers are damaged due to long-term use, they can be replaced with new ones, which is economical and inexpensive. Moreover, it has excellent advantages such as being elegant and in harmony with the dignity of the tea ceremony.
