(Prior Art) Generally, evacuation activities in the event of a fire should be started at the latest as soon as an automatic fire alarm is activated. For this reason, in the guide light device, it is preferable that the guide light and the automatic fire alarm are linked to enter the guidance or warning lighting state. In addition, guide lights are required to have high eye appeal and visibility. According to visual experiments, the eye attraction is better when the light output changes with a large difference in brightness, and the higher the light output, the better the visibility. Taking these points into consideration, when an automatic fire alarm is activated, evacuation activities include switching from the normal lighting or non-lighting state to a warning lighting state that changes the light output periodically. above is valid.

In addition, as a conventional technology, it has been proposed that a gas discharge lamp filled with a rare gas such as xenon, which is normally off, is turned on and off using high-frequency voltage from a transistor converter in conjunction with the activation of a fire alarm sensor. (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 47-45395).

(Problem to be solved by the invention) This device flashes the above-mentioned gas discharge lamp, which has a higher output than a fluorescent lamp, in conjunction with the activation of a fire alarm sensor, so it can be used as a guide light device as described above. The required eye appeal has been taken into consideration.
However, since the gas discharge lamp, which is normally off, is turned on and off in conjunction with the sensor, the gas discharge lamp hardly contributes to visibility during normal times. Therefore, in order to provide visibility during normal times, a fluorescent lamp or the like is required to be turned on during normal times, resulting in a high price. Furthermore, the entire device becomes large in size.

The present invention was developed in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to increase the peak value of the light output of the discharge lamp and emit light when an automatic fire alarm is activated, while the discharge lamp is lit at a predetermined light output under normal conditions. The object of the present invention is to provide a guide light device that enables early evacuation activities by periodically switching the light output of electric lights.

(Function) The present invention enables a discharge lamp, which is normally powered by an AC power source and is lit with a predetermined light output of dimming or full light, to be controlled by the above-mentioned control device when an automatic fire alarm is activated. By superimposing the output of the high frequency generator on the output of the AC power source and supplying it to the discharge lamp,
The light output of the discharge lamp can be increased by the output of the high-frequency generator compared to normal times. Furthermore, by periodically switching the light output of the discharge lamp using the switching device when the automatic fire alarm is activated, the difference in brightness due to the periodic switching of the light output can be increased by the amount that the light output has been increased. I can do it. Furthermore, discharge lamps that are energized by the output of an AC power source generally have a period of rest in the lamp current because they repeat extinguishing and re-ignition every half cycle. Since high-frequency lamp current is passed through the discharge lamp even during the idle period, the interior of the lamp is maintained in an ionized state suitable for discharge, making it difficult for the lamp to turn off and increasing the light output per certain period of time. Therefore, by using the same discharge lamp, it is possible to almost ensure visibility of the lighting state of the discharge lamp under normal conditions, while exhibiting high eye-catching property and high visibility when the automatic fire alarm is activated. .

2 is an AC power source, which is usually a commercial power source. The charging circuit 3 has an input end connected to the AC power supply 2 and an output end connected to the secondary battery 4 , and constantly charges the secondary battery 4 with the AC power supply 2 . High frequency generator 5
is composed of, for example, a transistor inverter, and the AC power supply 2 is supplied with power from the secondary battery 4 in the event of an emergency such as a power outage, converts the voltage of the secondary battery 4 to a high frequency of several KHz or more, and transmits the high frequency to the discharge lamp 6. Supplies high-frequency lamp current for lighting under current limiting action. Further, the rectified DC power supply 7 has its input end connected to the AC power supply 2, rectifies the AC power supply 2, creates a DC voltage equivalent to the secondary battery 4, and is capable of supplying power to the high frequency generator 5. It is set as.

When the automatic fire alarm 8 is activated, the control device 9
The output of the rectified DC power source 7 is supplied to the high frequency generator 5, and the output of the high frequency generator 5 is supplied to the discharge lamp 6 simultaneously with the output of the AC power source 2. For example, the output of the rectified DC power source 7 and the high frequency generator 5 are supplied to the discharge lamp 6. It performs a switch function such as forming a connection with the high frequency generator 5. Reference numeral 11 denotes a power outage detection device that detects a power outage in the AC power source 2 and forcibly closes the connection between the secondary battery 4 and the high frequency generator 5 at that point. Further, a ballast 13 is connected between the AC power source 2 and the discharge lamp 6, and a lighting tube 14 for starting is attached. Reference numeral 12 denotes a switching device, and in this embodiment, this switching device 12 is interposed in the high-frequency lighting circuit and the AC lighting circuit, and from the time when the automatic fire alarm 8 is activated, the power supply to the discharge lamp 6 is set in advance. It operates in such a way that it switches continuously at regular intervals.

The above-mentioned guidance device 1 operates as follows.
In normal times, the discharge lamp 6 is dimmed or fully lit depending on the installation location. That is, AC power supply 2
is supplied to the discharge lamp 6 via the ballast 13, and after the discharge lamp 6 is preheated by the operation of the lighting tube 14, it is started by a high-pressure surge and lights up. Therefore, in normal times, visibility to the extent that the user can confirm the position of the guide light device 1 can be obtained. During normal times, the charging device 3 receives the AC power source 2 and charges the secondary battery 4 in preparation for a power outage.

Now, if a fire accident occurs, the automatic fire alarm 8 detects it and sends a signal to the control device 9. The control device 9 forms a circuit in which the rectified DC power source 7 receives the signal, that is, immediately when the automatic fire alarm 8 is activated, the rectified DC power source 7 is supplied with power to the discharge lamp 6 via the high frequency generator 5. In this way, the AC power supply 2 before the power outage passes through the rectified DC power supply 7 equivalent to the secondary battery 4, is converted into a high frequency by the high frequency generator 5, and supplies high frequency current to the discharge lamp 6. As a result, from the time the automatic fire alarm 8 is activated until the AC power supply 2 is cut off, the discharge lamp 6 receives a superimposed voltage of the voltage of the AC power supply 2 and the high frequency voltage from the high frequency generator 5. will be applied. On the other hand, when the automatic fire alarm 8 is activated, the switching device 12 is activated. Switching device 1 in this embodiment
2 is started by, for example, the aforementioned control device 9, and opens and closes the device including the discharge lamp 6, the AC power source 2, and the high-frequency generator 5 at a frequency of about several Hz. In this manner, the light output of the discharge lamp 6 is periodically switched under enhanced lighting. That is,
The output of the high-frequency generator 5 causes the high-frequency lamp current to flow through the discharge lamp 6 even during the pause period of the lamp current every half cycle by the AC power supply 2, so that the inside of the tube is maintained in an ionized state suitable for discharge, and the cathode drop is reduced. Due to the reduction in flicker due to the reduction in brightness and the elongation of the positive column, the lamp efficiency is high and the brightness is brighter than the normal brightness. Furthermore, since the optical output is periodically switched in the brightening lighting state, it is possible to produce a larger change in the optical output than when high frequency superimposition is not performed. Therefore, from the time when the automatic fire alarm 6 is activated to before the AC power source 2 is cut off, the lighting state of the discharge lamp 6 can exhibit high eye-attractiveness without significantly impairing visibility in normal conditions.

Note that when the AC power supply 2 experiences a power outage, the power outage detection device 11 senses the power outage and operates the control device 9 to forcibly close the device between the secondary battery 4 and the high-frequency generator 5. , or form a separate circuit between them. Therefore, after a power outage, the discharge lamp 6 is supplied from the secondary battery 4 and kept lit for a certain period of time by the high-frequency current generated by the high-frequency generator 5. After a power outage, it is sufficient to turn on the light at a dimming rate of about 50% of the normal level, and if necessary, the switching device 12 periodically switches the light output.

Note that FIG. 2 shows an example in which the lighting state of the discharge lamp 6 is changed during normal times, when the automatic fire alarm 8 is activated, and during a power outage. As shown in FIG. 2, the light output of the discharge lamp 6 is improved by superimposing a high frequency current on the AC power source 2.

As described in detail above, the guide light device of the present invention is capable of controlling a discharge lamp that is normally lit with a predetermined light output by an AC power source, and when an automatic fire alarm is activated, a high frequency signal is applied to the discharge lamp by a control device. By superimposing the output of the generator on the output of the AC power source and supplying it, the light output of the discharge lamp can be increased by the output of the high-frequency generator compared to normal times. Furthermore, by periodically switching the light output of the discharge lamp using the switching device when the automatic fire alarm is activated, the difference in brightness due to the periodic switching of the light output can be increased by the amount that the light output has been increased. I can do it. Furthermore, although discharge lamps energized by the output of an AC power source typically have a lamp current pause period every half cycle, high-frequency voltages are applied to the discharge lamp even during the lamp current pause period by the AC power source. Because the high-frequency lamp current flows, the inside of the tube is maintained in an ionized state suitable for discharge, making it difficult for the lamp to turn off and increasing the light output per certain period of time. Therefore, while ensuring visibility during normal times, when the automatic fire alarm is activated, it is highly conspicuous and has a certain degree of visibility, making it easier for users to confirm the location of the guide lights during normal times. This has the extremely beneficial effect of allowing early evacuation when an automatic fire alarm is activated. Further, since different types of lamps are not required to perform the above-mentioned series of lighting operations, the entire guide light device can be downsized.
