Conventionally, to measure the amount of air in fresh concrete, a container A with a bottom is filled with a sample of fresh concrete. Pour a predetermined amount of ready-mixed concrete in batches, and each time tap the outside wall of container A with a mallet to remove large bubbles from the ready-mixed concrete. After filling with concrete, use a spatula long enough to extend along the diameter line of the upper rim of container A to squeeze out the excess concrete.
The flange surface of container A is filled to the same level as the end surface of the mouth of container A, and a lid casing equipped with instruments for measuring air amount is placed in close contact with the container to perform the prescribed measurements. Because of the contamination, it is necessary to carefully clean the flange surface to remove contamination in order to match the protrusion on the flange surface with the annular packing on the bottom surface of the lid housing when the lid housing is brought into close contact with container A during measurement. This is extremely troublesome, and if the cleaning is insufficient, the contact area with the packing may be damaged, making it impossible to make close contact with the packing surface, resulting in inconveniences such as air leakage.

In view of the above, the present invention is designed to eliminate the need for cleaning the flange surface of container A when filling container A with ready-mixed concrete, and to prevent contamination of the flange surface by placing it on the periphery of the mouth of container A. This relates to a flange cover in which an annular face plate 1 having a through hole 2 at the center has an inner circumferential edge of the center through hole 2 bent downward to form an annular projecting edge 3, and an annular protrusion 3 that extends from the bottom surface of the annular face plate 1. A plurality of spring pieces 4 with their intermediate portions bulging inward at intervals from the protruding edge 3 are protrudingly provided, and the annular face plate 1 is attached to the upper lip B of the bottomed container A for measuring the amount of air.
When placed on the container A, a predetermined annular gap 5 is formed between the annular protrusion 3 and the inner wall surface of the container A, and the intermediate bulging portion 4a of the spring piece 4 is locked to the lower surface of the flange C of the container A. It is characterized by being configured to do so.

In the illustrated example, the annular face plate 1 has an annular protrusion on its inner periphery to form a stepped portion 1a, and an annular sloped portion 1b on its outer periphery to form a cross-sectional shape of the upper rim B of the measurement container A, which will be described later. The figure shows a skirt 6 having a cross-sectional shape similar to the above, and further bending the outer periphery of the face plate 1 downward. A plurality of spring pieces 4 with intermediate portions 4a bulging inward are attached to the lower surface of the annular face plate 1, and a predetermined interval is provided between these spring pieces 4 and the annular protrusion 3. As shown in the figure, the size is such that the upper rim B including the flange C of the measurement container A can be accommodated therein.

In the illustrated example, a pair of spring pieces 4 are provided at arbitrary intervals at symmetrical positions on the diameter line of the face plate 1, and the pair on one side is integrally connected by a continuous piece 8 at the lower edge. A support piece 7 is provided on the outside of each set of spring pieces 4, 4 and protrudes downward from the skirt 6 of the face plate 1. Set of spring piece 4 and support piece 7
By grasping the spring pieces 4 at the same time, the spring pieces 4 are expanded outward to facilitate attachment and detachment of the face plate 1 to and from the measuring container A, as will be described later. When placed on a surface, it functions as a support leg to stably hold the face plate 1.

In the figure, reference numeral 9 indicates a plurality of guide protrusions for attaching the face plate 1 to the container A, which are arranged and projected from the lower surface of the annular face plate 1 at equal intervals along the circumferential direction. As mentioned above, this product is made by grasping the support piece 7 and the spring piece 4 on both sides with both hands, expanding the spring piece 4 outward, and attaching the spring piece 4 to the upper rim B of the measuring container A. When released, the spring piece 4 is elastically restored, and its intermediate bulge 4a engages with the lower surface of the flange C, and is engaged so that it will not escape from the container A even due to vibrations, etc., and the upper rim B of the container A. The end face is covered and protected by a face plate 1.

At this time, the face plate 1 is correctly concentrically connected to the mouth B of the container A by a plurality of spring pieces 4 and guide protrusions 9, and is caused to protrude downward along the inner peripheral edge of the through hole 2. An annular gap 5 was formed at a predetermined interval between the annular protrusion 3 and the inner circumferential wall surface of the container A, as shown in FIG.

With the annular face plate 1 attached to the upper rim B of the measurement container A in this manner, the fresh concrete sample is poured into the container A through the through hole 2 in several portions and the outer wall surface is struck with a mallet to remove bubbles. After filling the concrete to the extent that it overflows from the through hole 2, scrape off the excess fresh concrete that overflows with a spatula and remove the face plate 1 so that it is flush with the top surface of the through hole 2 of the face plate 1, and then remove the container A.
Measurement is carried out by attaching a lid casing to the top surface of the holder.

In this case, as shown in Fig. 4, the top surface height of the filled sample concrete is the height a, which is the sum of the material thickness of the annular wall 1 and the mouth rim height a of the conventional container A, and the height b relative to a. The amount of test concrete corresponding to the difference in height c will be increased compared to the conventional one, but in the present invention, as described above, through holes 2
An annular gap 5 is formed between the annular ridge 3 formed on the inner periphery of the container A and the inner circumferential wall surface of the container A, and the annular gap 5 is not filled with fresh concrete. The total amount of filled concrete remains the same as before by setting the volume of the addition of the plate thickness of the flange 3 to the volume of the increased concrete corresponding to the difference in c above, and therefore the volume of the concrete sample can be calculated. No correction is required, and the conventional air volume measurement scale can be used as is.
Since the annular gap 5 is filled with air, fresh concrete can be reliably prevented from entering.

As described above, according to the present invention, when filling the container A with a concrete sample, the annular face plate 1 that covers and protects the upper mouth rim B of the container A can be installed to prevent the mouth of the container A from being contaminated. Since there is no need to clean up contamination, there is no risk of damage caused by cleaning, and since the volume of the concrete sample does not change during its use, it can be used without having to correct conventional measuring instruments. It can be used, and the spring piece 4 can be attached to and detached from the container A.
This can be done very easily by expanding the concrete, and since the spring piece 4 is locked to the bottom surface of the flange C of the container A after binding, even if the container A is struck and vibrated when filling with concrete, the face plate 1 It has the effect of being able to accurately maintain the bond without coming off.
