の種の接続構造は本体側に設けてある嵌合凹部に
導電性ゴム等の材料をもちいて成形された本体側
接点が設けてあるため、消毒に使用する生理食塩
水や電気分解でえられた次亜塩素酸ソーダ溶液が
この接点部分に少量付着又は滴下しても通電可能
な状態となりそのまま消毒容器を嵌合させて消毒
すればこの本体側接点間で電気分解が発生し、一
方消毒容器内での電気分解がこのため不安定とな
り正常な濃度の消毒液は生成されず、またその消
毒液でコンタクトレンズを洗浄消毒しても十分な
効果がなく汚菌が残留したまま装着するようなこ
とがあると眼をいためるという危険がある。また
上記本体側接点間で電気分解が発生すると接点が
極端に消耗する等の欠点もある。

を導電性ゴム等で円柱状に成形しており、これの
周囲は本体側7の排液溝9から突出せしめた支持
部で支持された形状となつている。よつてこの本
体側接点11と消毒容器側接点4は、消毒容器1
と本体側7の嵌入部と使用の都度結合されれば簡
単に接続通電ができる構造である。
