In general, since the erase head is used both for high-speed erasing under high-speed tape feeding conditions and for tape position detection, it is necessary that the erase head be in a position where it can be erased under substantially all tape running conditions. Since the recording/playback head becomes an obstacle to tape running during high-speed feeding, it is desirable to keep it away from the tape running surface.

Conventionally, for this purpose, an erasing head and a recording/playback head have been provided separately, and in the case of a plunger-driven type of operation means, for example, there is a plunger for driving the erasing head that works in conjunction with fast forward or rewind operations, and a playback operation. It consisted of two plungers, one for driving the recording/playback head and the other for driving the recording/playback head.

However, in this method, the operating means for the erasing head and the recording/playback head are constructed separately, which not only increases the number of parts but also complicates the construction and increases the number of assembly steps. There were problems in terms of cost and space.

The present invention has been developed in view of this point, and has an extremely simple structure in which the erasing head and the recording/playback head, which are each configured separately, can be controlled in accordance with various operations by a single actuating means. The object of the present invention is to provide a tape recorder capable of performing the following operations.

Reference numerals 1 and 2 in the figure are take-up and supply reel stands rotatably disposed in a cassette mounting portion of the main body of the device (not shown). Reference numeral 3 denotes a first sliding board on which a recording/reproducing head 4, a pinch roller 5, etc. are mounted;
The sliding board 3 is slidably disposed on the chassis and is always urged to a non-playing position (in the direction of arrow A) by a return spring 6. Reference numeral 7 denotes an actuating plunger which suctions its actuating rod 8 in the opposite direction of arrow A when energized. At times, the first sliding base plate 3 is moved to the performance position (in the opposite direction of arrow A). Reference numeral 9 denotes a second sliding board on which the erasing head 10 is mounted, and the second sliding board 9 has its elongated holes 11,
2, 12, 12 are slidably provided on the first sliding base plate 3 and are always urged to the non-playing position (in the direction of arrow A) by the return spring 13. 11 and shaft 12, 12,
12, it moves to the performance position in conjunction with the movement of the first sliding base plate 3 toward the performance position. Reference numeral 14 denotes a locking rod which is rotatably supported by a shaft 15 and is always biased clockwise by a spring 16.
a holding branch 18 that engages with the holding portion 17 of the sliding board 9 to hold the second sliding board 9 in the playing position; and a normally closed switch when the second sliding board 9 finishes moving to the playing position. 19, and a direction in which the locking rod 14 is released from the engagement relationship between the locking branch 18 and the holding portion 17 by contacting one end of the cassette ejection lever (described later) to release the locking rod 14 when the ejection lever is operated. A release branch 21 that can be rotated counterclockwise) is formed respectively. Reference numeral 22 denotes a discharge lever which is rotatably supported on a shaft 22' and is always biased by a spring 23 to a non-operating position (counterclockwise) in contact with a stopper 24; At the same time, the cassette 25 is ejected from the cassette mounting section. As shown in FIG. 3, the activation plunger 7 is energized via the fast-forward switch 26, which is closed in conjunction with the fast-forward operation, and the normally closed switch 19, and during the playback (recording) operation. This is done through the regeneration switch 27 which is closed in conjunction with the regeneration operation, and the power is cut off by opening the stop switch 28 in conjunction with the stop operation.

At this time, the lock lever 14, which was prevented from rotating clockwise due to the contact relationship between the holding portion 17 of the second sliding board and the lock branch portion 18 of the lock lever.
The block is released and rotates clockwise by the spring 16, and the locking portion 18 locks the holding portion 17 of the second sliding board to hold the second sliding board 9 at its playing position. do. In addition, at this rotational position, the locking lever 14 opens the normally closed switch 19 by means of its operating branch 20 and brings its release branch 21 into contact with one end of the ejection lever 22.

Therefore, when a stop operation is performed from such a playback or recording state, the power to the operating plunger 7 is cut off by opening the stop switch 28, so that the operating plunger 7 is held at the playing position. The first sliding board 3 has a return spring 6

Therefore, when the next fast-forward operation is performed from such a state, although the fast-forward switch 26 is closed, the normally closed switch 19 is opened by the operating branch 20 of the locking lever, so the operating plunger 7 is closed. The tape can be left in a predetermined fast-forward state without operating, and in this fast-forward state, high-speed erasing or tape position detection can be performed with the erasing head 10, which has already been brought to the playing position by the second sliding board 9. It is possible to

Further, when a fast forward operation is performed from a stopped state immediately after the cassette 25 is installed as shown in FIG. 1. Both the second sliding boards 3 and 9 are brought to the playing position, but when the first and second sliding boards 3 and 9 finish moving to the playing position, the normally closed switch 19 is activated by the locking lever. Since it is released at the branching part 20, the power to the operating plunger 7 is cut off, and the first sliding board 3 on which the recording/playback head 4 and the like are mounted returns via the return spring 6, and the second sliding board 9 is held in the playing position by a locking rod 14. Therefore, in such a fast-forward state, high-speed erasing or tape position detection can be performed with the erasing head 10 located at the performance position. Note that when a stop operation is performed from such a fast-forward state, the tape fast-forward drive mechanism is released, but the second sliding board 9 is not moved. The engagement between the holding section 17 and the locking section 18 holds the instrument at the playing position.

Therefore, with a single plunger, it is possible to move only the erasing head to the playing position, or to move the recording and playback head together with the erasing head to the playing position, and the erasing head used for normal recording can be used for high-speed erasing, tape position detection, etc. It can be used for both.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, in the stopped state after the first operation after the cassette is installed, that is, after any operation such as playback, recording, or fast forwarding,
The erasing head is always held in the playing position where it is in contact with the tape surface, and therefore, when performing fast-forward operations from such a stopped state, it can quickly return to the fast-forward state where high-speed erasing or tape position detection can be performed without operating the plunger. Can be set.

Furthermore, when the cassette is ejected from a stopped state with the erasing head 10 in the playing position,
As the ejection lever 22 is rotated, the locking rod 14 releases the lock of the second sliding plate 9 at the performance position via the release branch 21 that is in contact with one end of the ejection lever 22 ( When the lock is released, the second sliding board 9 is returned to its original position by the return spring 13, and after the erasing head 10 has completely moved out of the playing position, the cassette 25 is ejected. It will be done.

Therefore, when the cassette is ejected, the erasing head, which is in the playing position (i.e., in the standby state) where it is in constant contact with the tape surface after the first operation after the cassette is installed, comes into contact with the cassette and the cassette is ejected. There is no risk of interfering with operation.

According to the present invention, a switch that is instantaneously closed when a cassette is installed is provided between the actuating plunger and its power supply, so that the actuating plunger is instantaneously actuated when the cassette is installed, and the erase is performed. It is also possible to hold the head in a playing position where it is always in contact with the tape surface, waiting for the next operation.

Furthermore, by configuring the stop switch to be open even when the cassette ejection lever is operated, it is possible to directly eject the cassette not only from a high-speed tape feed state but also from a recording or playback state. You can also do that.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to move only the erasing head to the performance position or to move the recording and playback head together with the erasing head to the performance position with an extremely simple structure, so that the recording head can be used for normal recording. The erasing head can be used for high-speed erasing under high-speed tape feeding conditions as well as for tape position detection, and its effects are of extremely high practical value.
