The trailer 5 is supported by the saddle 7, and a jyo mechanism (not shown) attached to the lower center of the saddle 7 is connected to the king pin 6 of the trailer 5 to form a mechanism for transmitting traction force, braking force, etc. A typical example is a balancer shaft 8 provided below the trailer 7 to allow relative movement with the trailer by peaching and rolling.

This angle-mounted coupler is installed on the tractor 2 as shown in Figure 2.
A side rail 9 is erected on a wheel base, an angle base 10 is attached to the side rail 9 using bolts, etc., and a coupler base 11 is mounted on the side rail 9.

For example, when connecting to a trailer with a small load,
The coupler should be located near the rear axle of the tractor so that most of the load is borne by the rear axle, and if the load is heavy, this position should be moved forward so that the load is borne by the front axle as well as the rear axle. Must be.

である。 Conventionally, in the angle mounting type coupler, when adjusting the position, mounting holes are opened in the coupler base 11 in a shifted manner, and using these holes, the coupler base 11 is mounted in a shifted position. However, since a very large force is applied to the coupler base 11, if a large number of holes are opened, the excess thickness between the holes will be reduced, and there is a possibility that shearing will occur between the holes.
For this reason, the current situation is that a new coupler base must be created each time the coupler is offset.

An intermediate base is provided with protrusions that come into contact with each other, and each of the through holes has the same pitch as the mounting holes opened in one of the protrusions of the intermediate base, and each of the through holes is at a position shifted by a predetermined length from each of the mounting holes. A plurality of intermediate bases are provided on the other protruding side, and the coupler base can be offset by a predetermined length by inverting the intermediate base.

る。 As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, an intermediate base is provided between the angle base and the coupler base, and the intermediate base is provided with a protrusion that abuts on both bases.
A plurality of through holes of the same pitch as the mounting holes opened in one of the protrusions of the intermediate base are provided on the other protrusion so that each of the through holes is at a position shifted by a predetermined length from each of the mounting holes. By reversing this intermediate base, the coupler base can be offset by a predetermined length. Therefore, the coupler can be offset by simply reversing the intermediate base, and it is no longer necessary to create a new coupler base as before. This eliminates the need to offset the coupler, making it very economically advantageous. In addition, since there are various equipment such as winches on this wheelbase, offset work of the coupler must be carried out in a narrow space, but even in that case, it is possible to simply offset the intermediate base. This can be done quickly and safely since it is only necessary to reverse the process.
