Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a remedy for swelling and pain, by using leaf of ARIJIKU- BIWA as an active component. CONSTITUTION:Fresh leaf of fig tree or INUBIWA (Ficus erecta) shown in Fig. I (oblique projection drawing of the obverse face) and Fig. 2 (oblique projection drawing of the reverse face) is used as an active component of a remedy for swelling and pain. It is effective in remedying lumb ago, arthralgia, shoulder discomfort and pain in muscle and swelling, etc. The remedying effect can be attained simply by applying the fresh leaf to the diseased part. Concretely, a leaf dried in the shade is moistened for about 3-4hr and applied to the diseased part. The remedy works within 4-5hr. When the leaf is applied after bath before going to bed, the pain is eliminated in the morning. The pain can be eliminated by repeating the treatment twice or so or 4-5 times in the case of grave patient. The obverse face of the leaf is made to contact with the skin.

と思っている人が非常に多い。使用法は生薬を痛い所に
あてるだけ、陰干の葉を３〜４時間位水分をかえして痛
