[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a tremolo device for a stringed instrument, and is characterized in that it is constructed so that the rotational torque of a tremolo arm for operating the tremolo device can be selected as desired.

A conventional tremolo device includes a bridge base that is attached to the body of a stringed instrument so as to be rotatable in directions toward and away from the body; A bridge member that locks the strings, a spring that biases the bridge base so that it always contacts the body of the stringed instrument, and a spring that is screwed onto the bridge base and rotates the bridge base in a direction toward and away from the body of the string instrument. and a tremolo arm, the bridge bass is rotated by operating the tremolo arm, thereby intentionally changing the tension of the strings, and the undulation of the pitch is used as a tremolo effect during performance. It is.

The above-mentioned tremolo arm is normally removed to a position where it does not interfere with the performance when not in use, and is pulled toward the player's hand when the tremolo effect is desired, so the rotational torque when pulling the arm can be adjusted to suit the player's preference. It is desirable to be able to set it.

In other words, there are two types of players of this type of musical instrument: those who prefer to play with the tremolo arm in a free state by weakening the rotational torque of the tremolo arm, and those who prefer to play with the tremolo arm in a free state at all times by weakening the rotational torque of the tremolo arm. This is because some people prefer to perform while being able to fix their position.

しかしながら、従来の此種トレモロ装置は、上

However, in conventional tremolo devices of this type, the tremolo arm is simply screwed onto the bridge base, so the tremolo arm must be screwed in completely to keep it in a fixed state, or it can be screwed in halfway to keep it in place at all times. There is no option other than leaving it in a free state, and therefore it is not possible to adjust the rotational torque of the tremolo arm to personal preference.

The present invention aims to provide a tremolo device for stringed instruments that eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages.

A support piece 25 is provided on the back side of the bridge base 2.
is fixed substantially vertically, and the supporting piece 25 extends into the recess 11 formed in the stringed instrument body 1, and has a return means, for example, one end of a spring 26 fixed to its tip, and 26 is the recess 11
The other end is fixed to the wall of the bridge base 2, so that the bridge base 2 is always in contact with the body 1 of the stringed instrument. The mounting holes 21, 21 have a sharp edge 21 formed from the rear side of the hole edge toward the center.

The notch 23 is provided in the insertion opening 2 at the protruding edge 22.
2a are provided at six locations alternately, and the locking member 51 of the string 5 is locked in the notch 23 on the bridge base 2 side, and the string 5 is inserted into the string insertion hole 2.
4 from the outside of the bridge base 2. In this case, as mentioned above, the line l connecting the notch 23, the string insertion hole 24, and the center of the string contact surface 31 should be aligned with the string tension direction. Since the setting has been made, the string 5 inserted through the string insertion hole 24 is placed on the string contact surface 3.
The strings 5 can be tensioned by pulling them out into the strings 1 and winding them around the string winding tool at the head of the stringed instrument.

In the embodiment, the tightening member 72 includes a male thread part 721 provided on the outer peripheral surface so as to be screwed with the tapered female thread part 711a, and two thread parts cut out so as to open downward along the axial direction. Therefore, when the tightening member 72 is screwed into the tapered female thread portion 711a, the notch grooves 722, 722 reduce the diameter of the tightening member 72. The rotational torque of the tremolo arm 6 is thereby increased or decreased.

The present tremolo device has a structure in which the torque is adjusted by tightening the tremolo arm 6, which is rotatably attached to the bearing member 71, by the tightening member 72, so that the user can make his own torque adjustment. In addition, since an oil reservoir is provided in the straight body portion 6' of the tremolo arm 6, even if frictional heat is generated between the tremolo arm 6 and the tightening member 72 due to frequent operation of the tremolo arm 6, Thereby, an accident in which the tremolo arm 6 seizes on the tightening member 72 can be effectively prevented.
