FIG. 1 is a schematic side view of a conventional general OHP device. 1 is the main unit housing, which houses the light source, heat exhaust fan, etc. A large window hole is formed in the upper surface of the machine casing, into which a light-transmitting plate 2 (such as a Fresnel lens) serving as a projection object mounting table is fitted. 3 is a projection optical head which is located above the projection object mounting table 2 and mainly includes an imaging lens 4 and an optical path changing mirror 5;
The head is mounted and supported on a column 6 installed vertically in the main machine casing 1 so that its vertical position can be freely adjusted. D is OHP

a. In the case of horizontal phenomenon projection: Place the object to be projected, such as a drawing, on the object to be projected 2 on the top surface of the machine casing. The object to be projected is illuminated from the back side by a light source inside the machine housing 1 through the translucent table 2, and the image of the illuminated object is projected in front of the head by the imaging lens 4 and mirror 5 of the projection optical head 3. The image is enlarged and projected onto a screen (not shown) installed in the screen. Focus adjustment is performed by extending and retracting the lens 4.

b. Vertical projection: This is the case when an object that cannot be laid horizontally on the projection object placement stage 2, such as the side of a test tube or reaction cell in a chemical experiment, is projected.
The OHP device is placed on a desk surface D in a tilted position as shown in FIG. 2. A separately prepared auxiliary mirror 7 is supported by a stand (not shown) and disposed above the projection optical head 3 with its light output portion facing upward. The auxiliary mirror 7 adjusts its angle so that the light emitted upward from the projection optical head 3 with its light output portion facing upward is redirected toward the screen in front of the OHP device. Then, a projection object 8 such as a test tube is supported by a support member (not shown) and disposed near the projection object placement stand 2, which is in a vertical plane position due to the tilting of the device, and the projection optical head 3. The projection object 8 is illuminated from the back side through the light-transmitting stand 2 by a light source in the machine case 1, and an image of the illuminated projection object is enlarged and projected by the imaging lens 4 and mirror 5 of the projection optical head 3 and the auxiliary mirror 7 onto the screen in front of the auxiliary mirror.

By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional device, the auxiliary mirror 7 used in the case of vertical phenomenon projection has a light emitting portion facing upward in order to prevent the light beam from the mirror 7 toward the screen in front from being vignetted by the OHP device main body casing 1. It is necessary to arrange it at a position considerably above the projection optical head 3. As a result, the distance from the head 3 to the auxiliary mirror 7 becomes long, so that the auxiliary mirror 7 needs to be a fairly large mirror in order to receive the entire luminous flux within the field angle range emitted from the head 3. Also, the stand that supported the large mirror was correspondingly large. The use of such a large auxiliary mirror 7 obstructs the viewing of the screen for an observer located at the rear of the OHP device.

The present invention also uses OHP in the case of vertical phenomenon projection.
The device is used in a tilted position and is combined with an auxiliary mirror, but a small auxiliary mirror is sufficient to eliminate the need for a large mirror as described above and the problems caused by it.
The purpose is to provide OHP equipment.

That is, the present invention includes a main body housing with a built-in light source and a projection object mounting table made of a transparent plate on the upper surface, and a support that is held above the projection object mounting table of the main body case through a support. A projection optical head that magnifies and projects the image of the object placed on the object mounting table onto the screen in front of the device, and the object to be projected on the main machine casing with the projection optical head removed and placed in a tilted position for vertical phenomenon projection. An auxiliary mirror is placed in front of the mounting table and faces upward at an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the projection object mounting table which is in a vertical position, and the removed projection optical head is held above the auxiliary mirror. The gist is an overhead projector comprising:

In the case of horizontal phenomenon projection, the main unit housing 1 is placed on the desk surface D with the projection object mounting surface facing upward, and the projection optical head support column 6 is installed vertically in the manner described above.
The projection optical head 3 is positioned above the projection object mounting table 2 via this support 6 (FIG. 5). The form of this apparatus is the same as that of the conventional apparatus shown in FIG. 1, and by placing the object to be projected on the table 2, horizontal phenomenon projection is performed in the same way as in the apparatus shown in FIG.

In the case of vertical phenomenon projection, the projection optical head 3 and the support column 6 are removed from the main body casing 1. The main machine casing 1 is placed on desk surface D in a tilted position. As a result, the auxiliary mirror stand 9 is positioned in front of the projection object mounting table 2, which is now in a vertical position, as shown in Figure 6, with the sub-table 9a side facing the main machine casing 1, and the prismatic protrusion on the main machine casing 1 side. 6a is fitted with the horizontal end of the square pipe auxiliary column 11 on the side of the auxiliary mirror stand 9, butt the auxiliary mirror stand 9 against the main machine casing 1, and tighten the screw 11c to establish a connected state. do. As a result, the auxiliary mirror 10 is placed in front of and facing the projection object mounting table 2 in the vertical position, diagonally upward at an angle of about 45 degrees. Next, the lower end of the removed projection optical head support prismatic column 6 is dropped onto the upper end prismatic projection 11d of the vertical portion 11b of the auxiliary column 11 on the side of the auxiliary mirror stand 9, and the projection optical head 3 is tightened by tightening the screw 6b. Then, the object 8 to be projected, such as a test tube, is placed and set on the sub-table 9a of the auxiliary mirror stand 9 via a support. The object 8 to be projected is illuminated from the back by a light source inside the machine housing 1 via the translucent table 2, and the image of the object to be illuminated is transferred from the auxiliary mirror 10 to the imaging lens 4 and mirror of the projection optical head 3. 5, the image is enlarged or vertically projected onto a screen in front of the head.

As described above, in this invention, the auxiliary mirror 10 for vertical phenomenon projection is connected to the object 8 and the projection optical head 3.
Since the configuration is such that the auxiliary mirror 10 itself can be of a small size, the problems caused by the use of a large size mirror in the conventional device shown in FIG. 2 are eliminated, and the overall structure is compact. An OHP device capable of both horizontal and vertical phenomenon projection can be obtained.
