【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はウエルドナツトに係わり、その目的と
する処はナツト孔内を閉塞すべく設けたシール部
材をボルト締付時、脱落せずしかもボルトの締付
に支障を与えないようになしたものである。

自動車のボデーやその他機器の組立を簡易迅速
に行うようボルト締付部には予めウエルドナツト
を溶着形成している。そしてこのウエルドナツト
を設けた状態の部材に塗料防錆ワツクス等を塗布
するが、この塗布時、ナツトのねじ孔内に上記塗
料などが侵入すると後のボルト締工程に於てボル
トを締め過ぎて破損してしまつたり、締め付け後
ゆるみが発生するための支障を起こすことが考え
られる。このため塗布装時塗料などがねじ孔内に
侵入しないようウエルドナツトに栓を附したもの
が提案されている。(例えば実公昭57−45449)ま
たこの栓は塗装時ナツトに装着されボルト締時簡
易に脱抜しなければならず、この目的を達成する
ため各種の方法が提案され、実用化されている。
しかし自動車ボデーのメンバの如く密閉された位
置にウエルドナツトを設ける場合にはボルト締に
よつて栓が脱落すると、密閉された空間内に栓が
落ちこみ、これが騒音となつたり、又他の機器に
支障を与えたりすることが考えられる。

本考案はウエルドナツトの溶着面の反対側座面
に、破断線を刻設したシール部材の外周面を固着
して一体となしたことを特徴とする。

図に於て1は所要の大きさ、形状を有するウエ
ルドナツト、通常の如く中央にねじ孔2を穿設
し、そして固定部材側面に溶着部片3が突設され
る。またウエルドナツト1の溶着部片を突設した
反対側面にはナツト頂面より少しくぼんだ座4を
形成し、この座4内にシール部材5を嵌合し、こ
のシール部材の全外周縁を押圧挾持する如く座の
全周に亘つて第3図に詳示する如くかしめ、この
かしめ部4aにてシール部材をナツトと一体化す
る。このシール部材5は、ナツト1を鉄板等の固
定部材6に溶着する場合電気溶接によるナツト加
熱時に於ても溶解あるいは変形(歪等)が生じな
い耐熱性の合成樹脂板、例えばフツソ系合成樹樹
脂の薄板を用いたり薄い鉄板(SPC材等)、リン
青銅板等の金属薄板等を用いるもので、これはナ
ツトの座4内に嵌合する形状と大きさ、例えば第
4図のように円形に切断されると共にボルト螺合
時ねじ孔にそつてボルト7が侵入してもこのシー
ル部材を容易に突き破つて挿通されるように破断
線としてスリツト5aが放射方向に多数刻設され
る。この時放射方向のスリツト5aはシール部材
の外周縁には達しないようにすると共にスリツト
5aの先端は第4図Aのようにシール部材外周端
縁とより内周側でこれと略平行なる同心円周上に
刻設した周回方向のスリツト5bと互いに交わる
ようにしてスリツト5a,5a間に形成される舌
片5Cがボルト侵入時容易に屈曲するようになす
か、又は第4図Bの如くスリツト5aのみとす
る。このいずれかの方法であつても舌片5cはボ
ルト先端にて第5図の示す如く曲げられた場合、
シール部材が脱落しないようになす。尚破断線は
スリツトでなくノツチでもよく、又放射状に刻設
されたものに限られることはない。

於て使用される場合でも不用物を該密封室内に落
下させることがないので、他部品との干渉異音の
発生の心配がない等の利点を有する。
