[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a lead wire attachment structure for a bimorph vibrator that is suitable for application to piezoelectric speaker elements and the like.

Conventionally, lead wires of this type of bimorph element for piezoelectric speakers are connected to a metal diaphragm 2 as shown in FIG.
It is constructed by bonding piezoelectric ceramic plates 1 and 1' in a sandwich pattern. A projecting terminal 2a is formed as an extension on the metal plate 2, and one lead wire 3' is taken out from the terminal 2a. Therefore, the shape of the metal plate 2 becomes complicated, and the presence of the protruding terminals 2a makes assembly and bonding work troublesome. Another drawback is that it is difficult to obtain flat sound pressure due to the lack of symmetry of the elements.

In view of these points, the main purpose of the present invention is to propose a vibrator of this type that reduces assembly man-hours and improves sound pressure characteristics.

FIGS. 2A and 2B are a plan view and a side sectional view showing an original example. 1 and 1' indicate piezoelectric ceramic elements,
A metal diaphragm 2 having the same diameter as the piezoelectric ceramic element is sandwiched and bonded in the middle. Note that 4 indicates the position of the node of the vibration mode when driven. Then, a small hole 5 is bored at a position corresponding to the node of one element 1' of the piezoelectric ceramic element, and a lead wire 3' is passed through the small hole 5.
is glued to the diaphragm 2. Therefore, even if the lead wires are bonded, the free vibration of the vibrator will not be hindered. The other lead wire 3 is bonded to the element 1 at a position corresponding to a node.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing another example of the present invention. In this example, the bonding position of the lead wire is determined by drilling small holes 5 not only at the node positions of the fundamental wave mode as shown in the example in FIG. A lead wire 3' is attached to the diaphragm 2 through a small hole 5. The other configurations are almost the same as the example shown in FIG.

As described above, according to the present invention, a small hole is formed at the vibration node position of one of the piezoelectric ceramic plates, and the lead wire is taken out from the diaphragm.
The symmetry of the elements is improved compared to the conventional one, and as shown in FIG. 4, the sound pressure characteristics are also improved, particularly in the flatness in the high frequency range. In the figure, the solid line is a curve according to the configuration of the present invention, and the broken line is a curve according to the configuration of the conventional example. Further, according to the present invention, since the shape of the diaphragm is simplified, the bonding process can be simplified and the yield rate can also be improved. Furthermore, the lead wires can be taken out from the same surface of the vibrator, and when configured as a speaker, the structure of the speaker housing can be simplified, thereby making it possible to significantly reduce costs.
