Abstract

PURPOSE:To ease the fatigue of the operator's eyes and to improve an operating capacity by incorporating a specific coloring agent mixture into the titled film to color the entire part to the color tone of a green system and allowing the peak of light transmissivity to exist in the range of 540-570nm wavelength, thereby coloring the film to the color of the green system and improving the light shielding effect. CONSTITUTION:A transparent light shieldable release layer into which the coloring agents are incorporated is provided on a transparent base. The coloring agent mixture consisting of a yellow coloring agent and blue coloring agent having at least 480nm max. light shielding wavelength are incorporated into the light shieldable release layer to color the entire part to the color tone of the green system. The light shieldable release layer shields the light of at least <=480nm wavelength, has the peak of the light transmissivity in the range of 540-570nm wavelength, and exhibits >=60%, more preferably >=80% ratio of the quantity of light transmission in the range of 480-600nm to the quantity of light transmission in the range of 480-700nm. The fatigue of the eyes is, therefore, eased.

Conventionally, light-shielding masking films in which a transparent light-shielding release layer is provided on a plastic support are known. In the field of photoengraving, etc., in order to obtain a desired transparent image, a cut line is made on the light-shielding release layer by hand or machine, and the light-shielding release layer is peeled off according to the cut line. .

By the way, the light-shielding release layer in such a masking film generally obtains the light-shielding effect by adding a colorant, but in the past, most of the colorants used to obtain the light-shielding effect were red-based. A masking film that uses a red colorant and does not contain a green colorant has a cut line on it.
When performing stripping work, if you engage in the work for a long time,
This had the disadvantage that it caused eye fatigue and reduced work efficiency.

On the other hand, green colors are different from red colors,
It is clear that the use of green colorants, which are known to reduce eye fatigue, significantly improves the drawbacks seen when using red colorants. However, unlike the case of red colorants, green colorants are significantly inferior in light shielding effect, and even if a reprinted green colorant is used, a practical masking film cannot be obtained.

The masking film of the present invention has wavelengths of 540 to 570.
A masking film that has a light transmittance peak in the nm range, but if the light transmittance peak deviates from this range, it uses a conventional colorant to have a light blocking effect at wavelengths of 480 nm or less and exhibits a sulclean color tone. becomes extremely difficult to obtain. In addition, if the ratio of the amount of light transmitted in the wavelength range of 480 to 700 nm to the amount of light transmitted in the wavelength range of 480 to 600 nm is less than 60%, the masking film will have a yellowish tone, reducing eye fatigue. It becomes impossible to obtain a sufficient greenish color.

The light-shielding release layer in the masking film of the present invention is
It can be obtained using a mixed colorant consisting of a yellow colorant and a blue colorant. In this case, the yellow coloring agent used has a maximum light blocking wavelength of at least 480 nm. Although there are various types of yellow coloring agents, some of which have a maximum light-shielding wavelength smaller than 480 nm, it has been confirmed that use of such agents is inappropriate in the case of the present invention.

The masking film of the present invention can be applied to a transparent support, e.g.
It can be obtained by laminating a light-shielding release layer having the above-mentioned light transmitting properties on a transparent plastic film such as a polyester film. in this case,
The light-shielding peeling layer i1'i contains, in addition to the above-mentioned mixed colorant, a polymeric substance such as synthetic rubber or synthetic resin as a binder component, but the specific structure of the light-shielding peeling layer is not well known. It can be constructed according to conventionally known techniques. Examples of the composition constituting this light-shielding release layer include nitrile rubber, vinyl chloride-vinylidene chloride copolymer, colorant, and optional additives, or nitrile rubber, vinyl chloride-vinylidene acetate copolymer. The amount of the colorant added is usually 2 to 50% by weight in the light-shielding release layer.
, preferably 5 to 30% by weight, so as not to impair the transparency of the light-shielding release layer.

In the masking film of the present invention, the light-shielding release layer is colored in a greenish color, and the overall color tone thereof is greenish. In the work of peeling off the light-shielding release layer, the operator's eye fatigue is significantly reduced, and the work ability is improved, unlike the case of using a conventional masking film that exhibits a reddish color.
