組立後の開閉蓋の分解を防止することを目的とす

は、小型VTRの開発により、テープカセツトも
小型薄形化が要求され、テープカセツトの構成、
剛性向上の開発が進められてきている。

従来、磁気テープ保護用の開閉蓋を有するテー
プカセツトとしては第1図〜第2図に示すものが
ある。すなわち上ハーフ1と下ハーフ2を組け合
わせる際に開閉蓋3の回動軸3a,3bを上ハー
フ1と下ハーフ2の組み合わせ部に回動可能に支
持するものである。しかしこの構成では、昨今の
小型化、薄形化において開閉蓋3を薄肉にすると
剛性が低下し取り扱い時に、開閉蓋3の前部3c
が矢印A方向へたわみ、開閉蓋3の両端が矢印B
方向、矢印C方向へ動きテープカセツト本体より
開閉蓋3がはずれるという問題が発生する。また
テープカセツト本体の落下時においても開閉蓋が
はずれるという問題がある。これを解消するため
に第3図〜第4図に示すように、開閉蓋3の回動
軸4において、上ハーフ1、下ハーフ2の厚みt
より若干長い軸部4aを設け、軸部4aの先端に
上ハーフ1に設けられた回動軸4の係合のための
切欠部1aの径より大きいフランジ部4bを設け
てフランジ部4bがテープカセツト本体の内側の
壁に当接し、開閉蓋3の分解を防止する方法を提
案した。しかし、前述の方法によると第4図に示
すようにテープカセツト本体よりローデイングの
ためにある一定長さLの位置にテープ5を引き出
す際、リール6にテープが最大に巻回されている
状態においては、テープ5が開閉蓋3の回動軸4
のフランジ部4bに接触し、テープ5の表面を傷
つけるという問題が発生することが考えられる。

フ7によつて形成される部分に前記突起部8aの
テーパー状軸部8cを係合せしめることにより、
外側にはずれようとする矢印D方向の動きに対し
て、上ハーフ6の軸受部6cのテーパー部6bと
テーパー状軸部8cの形状による効果により開閉
蓋8の分解を防止する。またテーパー状軸部8c
の長さlが上ハーフ6、下ハーフ7の厚さtと同
一が若干短かく構成されているため、ローデイン
グ時のテープパスの際テープ9に接することなく
テープ9の表面を損傷することを防止できる。

受部11bによつて形成されるテーパー状の軸穴
に上記突起部8aのテーパー状軸部8cを係合せ
しめることにより、外側にはずれようとする動き
に対してテーパー状の軸穴とテーパー状軸部の形
状による効果により開閉蓋8の分解を防止する。
またローデイング時のテープパスの際テープの表
面を損傷することがない。
