Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a water tank from breakage due to freezing by incorporating an independent foaming body like urethane in a water tank storing water for humidifying a compartment. CONSTITUTION:An atomizing tube 5 communicates to a water tank 1 through a water path 4 and an absorbing member 10 is applied to the inner surface side of a roof 9 of the water tank 1. This absorbing member 10 is formed of synthetic rubber and plastic like urethane or polyethylene having independent foaming property. Thus, when the water tank 1 is filled with water and the water 2 is frozen, stress due to the volume expansion is elastically absorbed.
