For example, when a sea area or part of a body of water is divided by an embankment and used as a treatment plant where waste is thrown into the area, particularly harmful components of the waste may dissolve or mix with the water and permeate through the embankment and be released into the surrounding area. It must be ensured that there is no leakage. Previous attempts have been made to drive steel sheet piles into the embankment as a means of blocking water, but because there are gaps at the joints, a complete water blocking effect could not be expected. Therefore, by utilizing the fact that the synthetic resin sheet is impermeable to water and has flexibility, for example, as shown in Fig. The entire length of the embankment body 1 is covered with the synthetic resin sheets 5 by sequentially laying out the synthetic resin sheets 5 with their side edges slightly overlapping each other and connecting the overlapping parts. In this case, it is preferable to connect the overlapping parts by heat welding to prevent water or sewage containing harmful components from leaking out, but the parts submerged in water on the landfill side are not welded. However, a complete water-blocking effect cannot yet be expected. Furthermore, it has been considered to use an adhesive or a connecting device as a means of connecting the synthetic resin sheet 5, but the former has the risk of peeling off due to the weight of the waste and loses water-tightness, and the latter has watertightness. Therefore, it is unsuitable for use as an embankment body for waste treatment. Furthermore, it is extremely troublesome to have to repeatedly pull down a synthetic resin sheet of a predetermined length along the slope from the narrow top toward the bottom of the water.

The covering sheet 11 has a thickness of 1 to 10 mm and a width of 2 to 10 mm, for example.
10 m, and a length of about 50 to 100 m. If necessary, a band 12 made of a vinyl chloride resin sheet with a reinforcing layer made of a braided material is sequentially connected in the width direction to a predetermined width, and is made water-impermeable and flexible. It has a sexual nature.

First, the barge 13 is floated on the water surface 6 of the water remaining on the reclaimed side of the embankment body 1, and the required number of boxes 14 in which the strips 12 are folded and stored are placed on the longitudinal side of the strips 12. They are installed at the end of the barge 13 so that their edges overlap each other by about 10 to 20 cm. The band 12 is pulled out from the box 14 onto the barge 13, and the overlapping portions are successively welded by heat melting and pressure bonding to an appropriate width to form the covering sheet 11.

A mounting ring 1 is provided at a location located toward the center by an appropriate width from one side edge in the longitudinal direction of this covering sheet 11.
5 are provided at appropriate intervals, and floats 16 are attached to these attachment rings 15 at appropriate intervals on the barge 13, and the floats 16 are attached to the side edges of the covering sheet 11 and the floats 1 inside thereof.
6 and attach the side edge to the mounting ring 1.
5, the covering sheet 11 is thrown into the water from the opposite end of the barge 13, and the portion to which the float 16 is attached is floated to the surface of the water by its buoyancy.

By moving the barge 13 in the direction opposite to the input end of the covering sheet 11 while performing the above-mentioned work at a location close to the embankment body 1, the covering sheet 11 made on the barge 13 is sequentially deposited on the water surface 6. It extends parallel to the embankment body 1 from the water bottom 4 to the water bottom 4. When the strip 12 runs out on the way, a new strip 12 is placed in the box 14, the front and rear edges are connected to each other by welding, and one long strip-shaped covering sheet 11 is formed over a predetermined installation section. form.

The extra width portion 17 is formed on the side edge facing the embankment body 1, and as shown in FIG. Pull the side edges to draw the float to the embankment body 1, and bring the float 16 onto the slope 3 of the embankment body 1 (Fig. 4).
The extra width portion 17 is pulled up above the water surface of the slope 3 and along the top edge 2 (Fig. 5), and this extra width portion 17 is moved above the water surface of the slope 3 and along the top edge 2.
After fixing the float 16 to the holder, remove the float 16. Covering sheet 1
The part of the float 1 hanging below the water surface is in contact with the water bottom 4, and when it is drawn to the embankment body 1, it is laid in close contact with the slope 3 sequentially from the bottom part, so that the float 16 is connected to the slope 3. When the vessel docks at the shore and the extra width section 17 is pulled up, the covering sheet 11 is laid along the top 2, slope 3, and bottom 4 (Fig. 6).

The cover sheet 11 is made to have a width equal to the slope length of the slope 3 plus the appropriate lengths of the top 2 and the bottom 4, and when the embankment body 1 is low and the slope 3 is steeply sloped, It is possible to use a single wide piece made seamlessly in advance without connecting the body 12 in the width direction. Further, when the embankment body 1 is constructed to completely surround the reclaimed side, both front and rear edges of the covering sheet 11 are once lifted above the water surface and welded together to make it watertight.
Furthermore, the work of welding the strips 12 to form the covering sheet 11 may be performed on a workbench protruding from the embankment body 1 or on land, and when the work is performed on a barge 13, one barge 13 is used. In some cases, the cover sheet 11 is anchored at a location and the leading edge of the cover sheet 11 is pulled and moved to spread it.

As described above, according to the present invention, the part laid above the water surface and the top of the slope is made to protrude to the side of the float as the extra width part, and this long covering sheet is spread parallel to the embankment body and over the extra width. Since the section is placed facing the embankment body, it is not only possible to easily move the covering sheet, which is kept in a floating state without sinking due to the float, but also allows the float to be berthed on the slope. The covering sheet can be laid in close contact with the entire slope simply by pulling up the extra width along the slope and top edge above the water surface. Therefore, by preparing a water-impermeable covering sheet in advance, the troublesome work of sequentially connecting the sheets after installation is not necessary, and the drawback of incomplete water-blocking properties is also eliminated. It is suitable as a pollution prevention measure for embankments of waste treatment plants where sewage tends to flow into surrounding water bodies.
