Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a liquid chromatograph device which can satisfactorily execute both the recovery and concentration of an eluate by providing a filter section to filter only the eluate behind a column section. CONSTITUTION:A sample is injected from a sample injecting device 3 into the system and is forced from an eluate tank 1 into a column 4 by a pump 2. The respective component of the sample separated by the column 4 are detected by a detector 5. The part of the unnecessary components which are not filtered in the filter section 6 are discarded through a selector valve 7 into a waste liquid tank 8. On the other hand, the desired component is stored into an desired component tank 9 by selecting the valve 7. The eluate filtered in the filter section 6 is clean and is, therefore, returned into the eluate tank 1 so as to be recycled. Then, part of the eluate is recovered and the desired component and the unnecessary components are concentrates.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1. The device consists of an eluent tank 1, a pump 2 for delivering the solution, a sample injection device 3 for filtering the sample into the system, and a column 4 for separation.
1. Detector for detecting each component after separation5. Filtration section 6. PM
It is composed of a flow path switching valve 7 that switches the liquid that does not flow to a waste liquid tank 8 or a target tank 9. Next, the operation of this device will be explained. The sample is injected into the system from the sample injection device 3, and is pushed into the eluent from the eluent tank l by the pump 2I and enters the column 4. After separation in column 4, each component is detected by detector 5, and if it is an unnecessary component, a portion is passed through 6, and the remaining part is discarded into waste liquid tank 8 via flow path switching valve 7. It will be done. On the other hand, if it is the target component, the flow path switching valve 7 is switched and the target component is stored in the target substance tank 9. Furthermore, since the eluent that has been drained in part 6 is clean, it can be returned to the tank and reused.

As the F4 filtration agent used in the filtration section 6, an ultrafiltration membrane capable of fractionating single molecules if the sample is a protein or the like, or a reverse osmosis membrane if the sample is a low-molecular organic substance can be used.

According to this embodiment, a part of the solution can be recovered, and the desired components and unnecessary components are concentrated. Furthermore, since a portion of the eluent can be recovered, operating costs can be reduced. In addition, since the desired components and unnecessary components are concentrated, the desired components can be easily post-processed, and the unnecessary components can be easily disposed of because there is less need to talk about them.
