During the removal process of solder flanks used when attaching to printed circuit boards, halogenated hydrocarbons can penetrate through the rubber stopper and enter the capacitor by immersion in halogenated hydrocarbons used as a cleaning agent or in a steam bath. However, it decomposes to produce chlorine ions, which can corrode capacitor elements.゛Means for Solving the Problems The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems and allows cleaning of aluminum electrolytic capacitors without impairing the excellent characteristics obtained from the driving electrolyte of conventional aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The present invention provides a driving electrolytic solution that can be incorporated into various processes. That is, the electrolytic solution for driving an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is characterized in that nitrobenzoic acid or a salt thereof is added to a solution containing T-butyrolactone as a main solvent and a quaternary ammonium salt of an organic acid as a solute.
