Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform printing while always keeping the amount of ink optimum, by storing the supply amount of ink in a control apparatus and reading the supply amount of the ink utilized the last time each time when a predetermined number of sheets are printed to perform fine adjustment and newly storing the supply amount of ink in the control apparatus after the finish of printing. CONSTITUTION:When the same printing pattern as the last time is printed on a corrugated cardboard sheet, the data of the supply amount of ink to each region used the last time is read from the predetermined memory address of a floppy disk 9 or magnetic bubble memory 10 to be displayed on a display apparatus 11 in order to be subjected to the next utilization. The next printing condition is finely adjusted with respect to the previous printing condition and the optimum supply amount of the ink is set. After the finish of printing, the supply amount of the ink to each region altered by fine adjustment is newly stored in the predetermined floppy disk 9 or magnetic bubble memory 10 and prepared so as to be usable when the same printing pattern is printed next.

``Prior art'' This type of conventional corrugated board printing machine was published in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 56-139.
Those described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 964 and Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-13243 are known. In other words, in any corrugated board printing machine, the ink supply nozzle reciprocates in the axial direction of the printing cylinder on which the printing plate is attached, and when it reaches the position corresponding to the area to be printed on the corrugated board sheet, the ink supply nozzle is turned off. Oil-based ink is ejected from the nozzle in an amount that is consumed depending on various printing conditions such as differences in printing patterns such as pictures. The control device for moving the ink supply nozzle to a specified area of the printing cylinder and ejecting oil-based ink was developed by the applicant in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 57-2759.
This has already been proposed in the Publication No.

``Problems to be Solved by the Invention'' However, conventionally, each time a predetermined number of ordered sheets are printed, the amount of ink required is not only set in advance according to the aspect of the print pattern such as a picture, but also the set value In addition, fine adjustments must be made in accordance with various conditions such as the ambient temperature and humidity, differences in the properties of the oil-based ink, and paper quality, resulting in extremely complicated work. Furthermore, setting and fine-tuning the amount of ink described above relies on the intuition of workers, which not only requires years of skill, but also requires many test prints when fine-tuning, resulting in a lot of waste and work. This was a cause of wasted work time as well as efficiency.

Therefore, in view of the above circumstances, the present invention finely adjusts the ink supply amount of each area of the printing cylinder used last time according to printing conditions such as ambient temperature when printing a predetermined number of ordered sheets next time. During printing, the ink supply amount for each area that has been changed through fine adjustments is stored in the control device and used for the next printing, which simplifies the setting of the ink supply amount and shortens the time for test printing. It is an object of the present invention to provide a system for optimizing the amount of ink supplied to a corrugated board printing machine, which not only enables printing with the optimum amount of ink at all times but also improves work efficiency.

Then, the corrugated cardboard sheet 21 is fed into the corrugated board printing machine so that the center OI of the width in the feeding direction coincides with the center in the axial direction of the printing cylinder 1, that is, the center 02 of the area divided into 12 equal parts of the printing cylinder 1. It has become. and,
On the display device 11, as shown in FIG.
The center 01 of 2, that is, the center of the width of the corrugated cardboard sheet 21 in the feeding direction, is drawn so as to coincide with the position 02 that should be the center of the printing cylinder 1 in the axial direction. Such depiction is performed by the central processing unit C via the input/output control unit I10 on the keyboard 8.
The image is input to the PU, further subjected to image processing by the graphic display processing device GDC, and displayed on the display device 11. In the line drawing 22 indicating the width orthogonal to the feeding direction of the corrugated board sheet 21, the processing positions of the ruled lines that will become folds when forming the box are also indicated as index lines. The space between -3 and this index line corresponds to each panel unit 22a to 22d. As shown in FIG. 3, the area display section 23 indicates an area obtained by dividing the printing cylinder 1 in the axial direction into 12 equal parts in the first corrugated board printing machine that prints the first color. The first corrugated board printing machine and the second corrugated board printing machine are connected to each other. and operate it.

Next, when printing a print pattern such as the same picture as the previous time on the corrugated board sheet 21, the data of the ink supply amount for each area ■ to ■ used last time is stored on the floppy disk 9 or the magnetic bubble memory 10. It is read from a predetermined storage address and then displayed on the display device 11 as shown in FIG. There may be a discrepancy in the printing conditions for printing. In other words, there may be differences between the previous printing and the next printing due to differences in ambient temperature, humidity, paper quality, moisture content of the paper, and even the properties of the oil-based ink. The condition changes slightly. In order to correct such changes in the printing condition, while making trial prints or actual printing of about 2 to 3 sheets, each area of the ink amount display section 25 and 26 is changed using the keyboard 8 shown in FIG. Fine adjustment is made by changing the values of ■~■, thereby setting the optimal supply ink amount for the next printing conditions. After printing is completed, the supply of each area ■~■ changed by the above fine adjustment is done. The amount of ink is newly stored in a predetermined storage address of the floppy disk 9 or the magnetic bubble memory 10, so that it can be used when printing the same print pattern next time.

On the other hand, when printing on corrugated cardboard sheets (21), the same or W44Q pattern may be repeatedly printed for a predetermined number of sheets, so multiple types of patterns, etc., to be printed may be printed. In accordance with this assumption, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the ink display section 25
.. A plurality of simple patterns a to c representing the amount of ink supplied in 26 by height differences for each panel unit 22a to 22d are set and stored in a predetermined storage address of the floppy disk 9 or the magnetic bubble memo January 0. I'll keep it. When printing, select from the floppy disk 9 or the magnetic bubble memory 10 one of the supply ink amount patterns a''-c shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 that corresponds to the printing pattern such as a picture. It is read out and displayed on the display device 11. In this print control format as well, as in the above case, even if the print pattern is the same, the previous printing conditions and the next printing conditions will slightly change, so before printing While performing trial printing or actual printing about 2 to 3 times, fine adjustment is made using the keyboard 8 of the supplied ink amount values of the patterns a to C used last time to correspond to the next printing conditions.

"Effects of the Invention" As described above, according to the ink supply amount optimization method for a corrugated board printing machine according to the present invention, the ink supply amount for each area of the printing cylinder used last time is adjusted to print the next predetermined number of ordered sheets. At the time of printing, MA1 is adjusted according to printing conditions such as ambient temperature, etc., and the ink supply amount for each area that has been changed by fine adjustment is newly stored in the control device and used for the next printing. It is possible to simplify the setting of the ink amount and shorten the time for trial printing, and not only can print with the optimum amount of ink at all times, but also improves work efficiency and is extremely convenient in use.
