[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a disposable cap. Conventionally, disposable caps have been known that use a nonwoven fabric made of rayon and a rubber cord covered with a spun yarn made of synthetic fiber, but the adhesive strength between the nonwoven fabric and the rubber cord is low. Moreover, the heat sealing strength of the folded nonwoven fabric edge was not sufficient, and there were drawbacks such as the rubber string coming off and the heat sealing part tearing during use, and the heat sealing took a long time, resulting in low productivity. .

The purpose of this invention is to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks of conventional products,
To provide a disposable cap with sufficient strength. The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side view of the cap according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the center portion of the cap, and FIG. 3 is a view showing the same shape when worn. The nonwoven fabric 1 is folded into an accordion shape (FIG. 2), both ends are heat-sealed 3, and a rubber cord 2 is heat-bonded to the periphery of the opening.

The nonwoven fabric used in the present invention is a fiber assembly layer made of heat-adhesive conjugate fibers made of two polymers with different melting points alone or mixed with other fibers to contain 20% by weight or more of the conjugate fibers. It is stabilized by thermal fusion of the low melting point component by heat treatment at a temperature between the melting points of both composite components.

The reason why heat-adhesive conjugate fibers are used as the constituent material of the nonwoven fabric is that the conjugate fibers do not lose their fiber shape even during heat treatment to stabilize the nonwoven fabric. This is because it effectively affects the adhesive strength of the heat-sealed part. If the amount of composite fibers is less than 20%, the strength of the nonwoven fabric, the adhesive strength with the rubber string, and the adhesive strength of the heat-sealed portion will be insufficient. The heat-adhesive conjugate fiber can be either a parallel type or a sheath-core type.
As the composite component, any component commonly used in composite fibers such as polymers such as polyolefin, polyamide, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl chloride, and various copolymers can be used.

As fibers other than heat-adhesive composite fibers, synthetic fibers, natural fibers, pulp, etc. can be used, as long as they do not deform or change in quality at the heat treatment temperature between the melting points of both components of the composite to form a non-woven fabric.

The rubber string that is thermally bonded to the nonwoven fabric is made of fibers made of the same polymer that forms at least a part of the outer surface of the thermally adhesive composite fibers that make up the nonwoven fabric.
By being coated with yarn containing at least % by weight, excellent thermal bonding strength with the nonwoven fabric can be obtained.
