Abstract

PURPOSE:To safely perform treatment without generating an unnecessary stimulus and imparting a feeling of uneasiness to a patient, by arranging a shock wave generating source such as detonator at the first focus of a converging reflecting mirror and positioning the effective spot of a body to be treated such as a human body at the second focus where the shock wave thereof is converged to apply a stimulus to said effective spot. CONSTITUTION:Detonator or other shock wave generating source 1 is positioned at the first focus A of a converging reflecting mirror 2 to generate a shock wave. Next, the generated shock wave transmits through the water 3 being the pressure propagating medium in the converging reflecting mirror 2 to be reflected and propagated. Further, the effective spot 8 of a body 7 to be treated such as a human body is positioned at the second focus B to apply a stimulus to the effective spot 8. The pressure at the second focus B in this case is 70-90kg/cm<2> when the detonator 3mg being the shock wave generating source 1 is exploded and, at the position separated by 50mm from the second focus B at this time, said pressure becomes 0.5-2kg/cm<2> and the shock wave is clear ly converged to the second focus 8 and no unnecessary stimulus is applied to a place other than the effective spot 8.

Detailed Description of the Invention [Technical Field of the Invention] The present invention focuses shock waves generated from explosives or shock wave generators, etc. using a focusing reflector, stimulates human tissues with moderate shock waves, and cures various diseases. The present invention relates to a shock wave treatment method and apparatus for treating.

A treatment method that stimulates specific points on the human body, so-called pressure points, is a treatment method that has been used since ancient times. Methods for this stimulation include acupuncture treatment in which metal needles are inserted into the human body, and heating. Methods such as moxibustion, acupressure using finger tips, and even the application of ferromagnetic materials are used.

Among these, acupuncture and moxibustion are fast-acting treatments, but since acupuncture involves needles poking into the human body, which causes wounds, there is a risk of viral infection transmitted through blood, and moxibustion The treatment heats the skin, causing burns and leaving scars, making it aesthetically and visually unpleasant.

On the other hand, a method of treatment that stimulates acupuncture points with explosives, etc. is known from Japanese Patent Application No. 58-47193, which involves placing an explosive in a sealed container, detonating it, and applying the generated shock waves to the acupuncture points. This method involves direct contact with the skin with a treatment tool containing explosives, which creates psychological anxiety and has an unfavorable effect on the treatment.

In addition, because the explosives are placed in a sealed container, the structure must be strong, which increases the price, and the strength of the shock waves applied to the acupuncture point is high at the surface of the skin and decreases toward the center. Therefore, when applying a necessary impact to the lower part of the skin, there is a problem in that unnecessary impact is also applied to the surface of the skin.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and uses a focusing reflector to reflect and focus shock waves generated from a shock wave generation source such as an explosive, thereby projecting arbitrary pressure to an arbitrary location on the human body. It is an object of the present invention to provide a shock wave treatment method and an apparatus therefor, which can stimulate acupuncture points and perform treatment without directly contacting the skin with a shock wave source.

In order to achieve the above object, the shock wave treatment method of the present invention propagates a shock wave generated from a shock wave generation source located at the first focus of a focusing reflector to a pressure propagation medium from within the focusing reflector. This method is characterized by applying stimulation by positioning the tail of the object to be treated, such as a human body, at the second focal point where the shock waves are focused. As a shock wave treatment device to which this method can be applied, the first focal point of the focusing reflector is A shock wave generation source such as an explosive is provided, and a pressure propagation medium such as water that can propagate the shock waves generated from the shock wave generation source is provided, and a second focal point on which the shock waves are focused is set at a target body such as a human body. It is constructed by providing a membrane material that can be brought into contact with the tail of the body.

As mentioned above, the shock waves from the shock wave generation source such as explosives are focused on the tail of the treated body through the focusing reflector and the pressure propagation medium and provide stimulation, which unnecessarily and unnecessarily stimulates parts other than the acupuncture points. Safe treatment can be performed without causing anxiety to the patient.

Furthermore, in the method of the present invention, the acupuncture point 8 of the object 7 to be treated, such as a human body, is positioned at the second focal point B where the shock wave is focused, and stimulation is applied thereto.

In this case, the pressure at the second focal point B is 70 to 90 kg/c when the explosive 3, which is the shock wave source 1, is detonated.
At this time, when the pressure is 50n away from the second focal point B, the pressure becomes 0.5 to 2 kHz/ci, and it is clearly focused on the second focal point B, and unnecessary stimulation is not applied to areas other than the acupuncture point 8. It turns out there isn't.

On the other hand, in the case of the conventional shock wave treatment device disclosed in Japanese Patent Application No. 58-47193, the pressure on the surface in contact with the human body is 70
Even if the pressure is ~90 kg/-, the pressure will be as low as 1 to 2 kg/ctA when the acupuncture point is 30 mm away, resulting in a very weak stimulation, resulting in poor therapeutic effects.

In addition, the shock wave treatment method of the present invention applies to the acupuncture point 8 of the subject 7.
Treatment may also be performed by placing the and focusing reflector 2 in water 3, which is the same pressure propagation medium. It is submerged in water 3, and the shock wave generation source 1 of explosive 3■ is placed at its first focal point A and detonated to generate a shock wave. As a result of hitting the pressure point 8 between the parent finger and the index finger, a very good therapeutic effect has been obtained.
