Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a component of force to a printing form, to reduce a variance of a potential difference, as well, and to decrease scattering of a toner and uneven printing, by providing a chevron-shaped rib against the form traveling direction. CONSTITUTION:A toner stuck to a photosensitive body 11 is transferred to a printing form 12 by a transfer charge unit 8. Thereafter, the printing form 12 is carried to a fixing unit 9, while sliding on a form traveling guide plate A in a state that an unstable particle form toner is placed as it is. The form traveling guide plate A is provided with plural pieces of chevron-shaped ribs 2. Each rib 2 is inclined by an angle theta to the right and left, respectively, against the form traveling direction (a) so that force in the horizontal direction is not applied in the course of feeding the form, therefore, as the printing form 12 travels, a contact part to the rib also moves, and when it has passed through the form traveling guide plate A, the whole surface of the printing form 12 is brought into contact with the rib 2, by which the variance of the potential is reduced, and scattering of the toner and uneven printing can be suppress.
