Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a device for thermally killing vermin such as mites in carpet, etc. in a living room, effective in preventing allergy of human body because of thermal denaturation of the killed mites and composed of a case containing a means for generating hot air and a temperature-controlling means. CONSTITUTION:The objective vermin killing device is composed of preferably a box-type case 1 containing a means for generating thermal radiation e.g. by an infrared radiator 2 or hot air e.g. by a fan heater 3 and a means 5 for controlling the temperature of the heating means below a prescribed level (e.g. 45-50 deg.C). Preferably, the whole or a part of the case 1 is made of a flexible material.
