Conventionally, a known wire assembly, the basic form of which is illustrated in FIG. 5, has been widely used for automobile ground wiring, etc., and is wired to important parts of the vehicle body by stacking a plurality of plate terminals as shown in FIG. That is, the terminal of the electric wire 3 is caulked and connected to the connection part 2 of the plate terminal, the plate-shaped attachment parts 1 at the other end are stacked together, the attachment holes 4 are assembled concentrically, and the main parts of the vehicle body are connected with bolts. sticks to. However, the connection part 2 around which the electric wire 3 is wound
Since it has a thick three-dimensional shape, the connecting portions 2 interfere with each other during the above-mentioned attachment work, making it extremely difficult to accurately assemble the plate-like attachment portions 1, which impedes smooth work. For example, when stacking plate terminals with their axes aligned and bolting them in direction A as shown in Figure 2, the series of operations of assembling the plate terminals, positioning them, holding them by hand, and tightening them is extremely difficult. Moreover, the base 1A of the attachment part naturally deforms and bends, and even if tightened with sufficient torque, a gap 5 remains between the plates of the attachment part, impeding the smooth function of the wire terminal. do. On the other hand, in order to alleviate the above-mentioned difficult work, a method is adopted in which the connecting portion 2 and its vicinity are wrapped with tape and fixed together, but it is difficult to match the centers of the attachment holes when wrapping with tape. From the above, as an improved version, a double plate terminal in which a plurality of connecting parts 2 are connected to a single mounting part 1, as shown in Figs. The above problems cannot be resolved. That is, in accordance with the procedures shown in FIG. 5 A, B, and C, branch wires 6A and 7A are attached to the two wire assembly elements 6 and 7, and a double plate terminal 8 is connected to the final end of the main wire that forms a common circuit. When producing wire assemblies, it is essential to combine the required wire assemblies and crimping them using a connection crimping machine. It involves complicated work such as processing and organizing. Therefore, in a modern mass production system in which the caulking process is performed on a conveyor line and immediate installation work is required, an inefficient and unreasonable process is involved, and there is a chronic defect that significantly impedes the productivity of the wire assembly.

The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings. Figures 6 to 10 show an embodiment of the present invention, and the plate terminal 9 according to the present invention is a plate-shaped terminal having a mounting hole 4 in the center. It has a U-shaped groove-shaped connection part 2 that is connected to the attachment part 1 via a plate-shaped connection part base 10 (attachment part 1
and the bottom surface of the connecting part 2 are on the same plane), and the center line 1A passing through the center of the attachment hole and the axis 2C of the connecting part 2 are parallel to each other with a distance L1 between them. The connecting portion 2 has a connecting piece 2A that is plastically worked in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 10 and is wound around the outer periphery of the sheath of the electric wire, and a connecting piece 2B that is wound around the outer periphery of the bare electric wire. Connecting. On the other hand, the base 10 is provided with a fitting mechanism 11 consisting of male and female locking pieces. That is, the side edges are bent 180 degrees, and a tongue-shaped female locking piece 13 is provided in parallel with a gap 12 into which the plate of the base 10 of another plate terminal is inserted, and the gap 12 is located at the axis 2C. A lock pawl 1 that is open at both ends in the direction and protrudes in the direction of the gap 12 at approximately the center position.
It has 4. Further, the other edge of the base 10 has a plate-shaped male locking piece 15 that extends slightly in a direction perpendicular to the axis 2C, and has a fitting hole 1 for the locking pawl 14 at a predetermined position.
Drill 6. For the above plate terminals, combine two pieces and
As shown in FIG. 1, the male locking piece 15 and the female locking piece 13 are formed to have the same size and are arranged so that they fit into each other when the mounting surfaces 1 are facing each other. The tip of the female locking piece 13 has a tapered surface 13A to facilitate the insertion of the male locking piece 15 of another plate terminal to be combined, and the lock claw 14 presses the local part of the locking surface 13 into a square shape. It is machined, cut out on three sides, and bent to form a cantilever-like elastic claw that gradually rises toward the depth of the gap 12, and the fitting hole 16 is formed so that the locking claw 14 is accurately inserted into the fitting hole 16. The hole is drilled in the position and size that will fit. Furthermore, the male locking piece 15 is connected to the female locking piece 13.
Guide ridges 17 are attached to both edges to accurately fit with the plate terminals and regulate the relative positions of the two plate terminals.

As shown in FIG. 11, the plate terminals 9A and 9B are assembled in such a way that the axes of the two connecting portions are parallel to each other with a distance L 2 in between, and in opposite directions up and down, so that the relative positions are accurately fixed and the Functions as a plate terminal for assembled wires with a single attachment point. That is, the male locking piece 15 is smoothly fitted into the female locking piece 13 and the locking pawl 14 due to the elastic deformation, and the locking pawl 1 is in the final position shown in FIG.
4 and the fitting hole are precisely fitted and locked in one touch, and the two plate terminals are essentially made into a single plate terminal, eliminating the above-mentioned conventional functional defects and making it extremely easy to attach to important parts of the vehicle body etc. Wire assembly can be arranged accurately. On the other hand, in the wire assembly production process described above, the plate terminals 9 are connected in advance to each of the wire assembly elements and preformed, and the wire assembly can be completed by the one-touch fitting when the wire assembly is arranged on the conveyor line. This has the effect of completely eliminating the above-mentioned complicated steps in the production and arrangement process of assembled wires and significantly improving the productivity. Furthermore, due to the advantage of mutual fitting between plate terminals of the same shape and size, it is possible to mass produce a single type, and it also has the practical effect of being able to be provided at a low cost.

Note that the fitting mechanism of the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and may be modified based on the above-mentioned idea. For example, as shown in FIG. 13, the female locking piece 18 is raised in a bridge shape by pressing the edge of the plate material of the wide base 19, and the male locking piece 2 projects squarely on the other edge.
0 constitutes a fitting mechanism, which is fitted in the same manner as shown in FIG. 11, and is automatically locked by the respective attached lock claws 14 and fitting holes 16, so that the same effects as described above can be achieved.
