Conventionally, in order to air-condition a building, air conditioned by an air conditioner was transported to each part of the building through ducts, and then blown out into the building. In this case, the ducts are insulated with heat insulating material, and in many cases are thick in diameter and run horizontally within the ceiling, requiring space for the ducts at the bottom of the beams, which increases the floor height and increases construction costs and construction times. Ta. Additionally, since ducts covered with heat insulating material were installed, it was disadvantageous in terms of construction costs and construction time. Therefore, the present applicant has developed an air conditioner as shown in FIG. 1 in order to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks. That is, an air conditioner 2 for supplying conditioned air is provided in the ceiling 1, and an induction duct 3 is provided in the ceiling 1, and air drawn into the induction duct 3 is injected into the ceiling. This air conditioner is equipped with an ejector that sucks in the conditioned air and blows it out into the room below the ceiling (see patent registration application dated April 17, 1980). Since the storage space is used as a storage space, there is no need for a conventional duct for conditioned air, and the space for the duct at the bottom of the beam is narrowed because a relatively small diameter induction duct that does not need to be kept warm by insulation material is installed horizontally. This makes it possible to reduce floor height, construction costs, and construction time.

This invention is an improvement on the air conditioner described above, and allows the tip of the injection port of the induction duct to be fixed extremely easily and reliably without reducing the suction action of the ejector when installing the device.

In the air conditioner according to this invention, an air outlet opening downward into the room is provided on the ceiling surface, a fixing ring is attached to the approximate center of the suction side opening of this air outlet, and the tip of the injection port of the induction duct is attached to the tip of the air outlet. It is fixed by inserting a portion into the fixing ring and folding the inserted portion back so as to wrap around the fixing ring.

Hereinafter, this invention will be explained with reference to an example illustrating the invention. FIG. 1 shows the first floor of a concrete building and its air conditioner, in which air conditioners 2 are installed on both sides of the building. A supply duct 4 of this air conditioner 2 opens into the ceiling 1, and conditioned air is sent into the ceiling 1 by the supply duct 4, so that the ceiling 1 serves as one continuous conditioned air storage. Note that the drawing only shows the left half of the first-floor high part of the building.

are installed at regular intervals in the width direction. An attraction fan 5 is attached to one end of the attraction duct 3, and by rotating the attraction fan 5, the conditioned air in the ceiling 1 is sucked into the attraction duct 3. Further, branch ducts 6 are formed at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction of the attraction duct 3, and an injection port 7 for injecting the conditioned air in the attraction duct 3 is formed at the tip of the branch duct 6.

An elbow-shaped duct 8 is attached to the tip of the injection port 7, and the chamber 8 has a flap-shaped air outlet 1 that opens downward from the ceiling surface 9 into the room 10.
1 and a rattling-shaped suction port 12 that opens on the inside of the ceiling 1 side.
is formed. The suction port 12 and the tip of the injection port 7 face each other at a short distance and form an ejector. That is, by rotating the induction fan 5, the conditioned air in the ceiling 1 that is induced into the induction duct 3 is injected from the injection port 7 into the suction port 12,
By the action of the ejector, the conditioned air in the ceiling 1 is sucked through the suction port 12, enters the elbow-shaped duct 8 together with it, and is blown out downwardly from the air outlet 11 into the room 10, thereby air-conditioning the room 10. Note that 13 is a return chamber, 14 is a return duct, and indoor air is circulated to the air conditioner 2 and conditioned.

Figures 2 and 3 show how to fix the tip of the injection port 7 in this air conditioner.
A fixing ring 15 is attached to the approximate center of the suction port 12, and the tip of the injection port 7 is inserted into the fixing ring 15, and a part of the insertion portion 16 is folded back so as to wrap around the fixing ring 15. Therefore, it is fixed to the fixing ring 15. The folded portions 17, 17 of the insertion portion 16 are formed by making cuts 19, 19 in the insertion portion 16 with scissors or the like, as shown in FIG.
