The locking means is formed by a pair of protrusions 23, which are provided at symmetrical positions at the ends of the boss 21. In order to enable the boss 21 to be inserted into the boss fitting hole 22 together with its protrusion 23, a recess 24 having a size and shape corresponding to the protrusion 23 is formed in the boss fitting hole 22 (FIG. 4). . Projection 23
By aligning the boss 21 with the recess 24
can be inserted into the boss insertion hole 22, and then by rotating the mounting member 10, the boss 21 can be inserted into the base flange 1 as shown in FIG.
Movement in the axial direction within the boss insertion hole 22 is substantially restrained by the protrusion 23 that engages with the lower side of the boss 2 . Therefore, the attachment member 10 to the frame 11
The boss 21 can only be moved to the frame 11 at a specific angular position.
The mounting member 10 can be moved axially relative to the mounting member 10.
can be removed from the frame 11.

When the mounting member 10 is rotated around the rotation axis of the boss 21, the adjustment rod 27 moves laterally, and the mounting member 1
0 is at an angle with respect to the frame 11 as shown in FIG. 1, the positions are closest to each other. This angular state is preferably set in the boss insertion hole 2.
This is the position of the mounting member 10 when the boss 21 is allowed to move in the axial direction within the mounting member 2. As is clear from FIG. 1, the end of the flange 27a is connected to the adjustment rod 2.
When 7 is in this position, it leaves the terminal edge of the respective fixing flange 28. Therefore, in this position, the adjustment rod 27 can be removed from the cylindrical protrusion 25 and the boss 21 can be pulled out from the boss insertion hole 22. However, this position of the mounting member 10 relative to the frame 11 is such that the mounting member 10 cannot be moved during normal opening and closing operations of the armored window. Therefore, during normal opening and closing operations, the adjustment rod 27 slidably abuts the fixed flange 28 and the cylindrical protrusion 25
The terminal edge of the flange 27a is located at the rear of the fixed flange 28 so that it cannot be separated from the fixed flange 28.

and a handle base 32 disposed through and within a groove in the side flange 14 of the frame 11. The adjustment rod 27 is pivotably connected to the base 32 of the operating handle 30 at a pivot point 34 and to the arm 36 at a pivot point 35, and the other end of the arm 36 is pivotably coupled to the handle base 32 at a pivot point 33. There is. FIG. 6 shows in solid lines the position that the operating handle 30 assumes when the armor window is completely closed and the adjustment rod 27 is in the position shown. In this figure, the state of the arm 36 when the operating handle 30 is inserted into the groove of the side flange 14 is shown by broken lines.

When the operating handle 30 is rotated in the direction indicated by the arrow, first, the pivot point 33 connecting the arm 36 and the handle base 32 is slightly displaced in the same direction, and then the pivot points 34 and 35 move around the pivot point 33. ,
This causes the adjustment rod 27 to move and open the window. As can be seen from Figure 6, when the window is closed, the turning point 3
It is locked by the overcenter effect imparted by the misalignment of 3, 34, and 35.

The mounting member 10 can be completely attached to the frame member by inserting the adjustment rod 27 into each boss insertion hole 22 and then attaching the adjustment rod 27 to the cylindrical protrusion 25. They do not need to be fixed to each other. In addition to the interaction of the protrusion 23 with the inner surface of the base flange 12 of the frame 11, the terminal edge of the flange 27a of the adjustment rod 27, which is located behind the fixed flange 28, ensures that the mounting member remains closed during normal opening and closing operations of the window. 10 and adjustment rod 2
7 never comes off. Therefore, this armored window has a minimal number of parts and no fasteners, allowing the end user to assemble the window before attaching it to the window frame. It is particularly suitable for sale in the form of a complete set of assembled parts.

One of the great advantages of the armored window according to the invention is that the panel element mounting groove 16 of the mounting member 10 has a width that corresponds to the minimum wall thickness of conventional glass. The wall thickness of such glass is usually
Flange 1 which is 4mm and forms a mounting groove
Due to the elasticity of 8, even 5-6 mm glass can be inserted. Additionally, the flexible edges 20 of the mounting member 10 provide a seal between the mounting member 10 and the frame 11, and the degree of sealing is such that when a thicker glass is inserted, the glass flange 18
is deformed or bent to bring the edge 20 and the surface of the base flange 12 into closer contact, so that it can be effectively increased.

The seal between the mounting member 10 and the frame 11 can be enhanced by contouring the surface of the base flange 12 in the form shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. The surface of the base flange 12 has a raised portion 3 extending from approximately around the hole 13 towards the flange 14 which is placed inside the window in use.
7 is provided. This raised portion 37 is 37a
As shown, it extends to the front part of the boss insertion hole 22 and surrounds it. Therefore, even if moisture passes through the seal formed by the surface of the mounting member 10 and the edge 20, it will face the ridges 37, 37a, and these ridges will act as a barrier to prevent moisture from entering the building. Prevented. Raised portion 37,3
The moisture accumulated at 7a is wiped away by the edge 20 the next time the window is opened. Therefore, the armored window structure according to the present invention has a completely opposite relationship to the conventional armored window structure. That is, in the conventional armored window structure, the seal is made on the outside surface of the window, so if water passes through the sealing part, it can directly enter the building, but in the armored window structure according to the present invention, the sealing part is sealed. All of the moisture that has passed through is blocked by the raised portions 37, 37a, and is prevented from entering the interior, as described above, and is removed when the window is opened.
