合、イレーズ用ギャップ巾が小さいためトラック間にデ
ータの消し残りが生じてしまう、このため、96TPI
用ヘツドで書き込んだデータを48TPI用のヘッドで
読み出そうとした場合正規のデータに前記消し残りのデ
ータが重畳してしまい、データの信頼性を著しく劣化さ
せてしまうという欠点がある。
