Abstract

PURPOSE:To simultaneously and independently, perform recording and reading by arranging at least one optical pickup capable of executing a recording mode and at least another one optical pickup capable of executing a reading mode so that they can be operated independently on one optical disk. CONSTITUTION:A reloadable optical disk 11 is placed on a driver 10 which rotates the optical disk at constant speed. In the disk driver 10, two accessing devices 12 and 14 consisting of linear motors which can move the optical pickups 13 and 15 in non-contact with the disk 11 arbitrarily in the diameter direction of the disk 10 at high speed, etc., are arranged. The accessing devices 12 and 14 are equipped with the optical pickups 13 and 15 respectively, and one of them is provided with the capacity of the recording mode, and the other is provided with that of the reading mode. クには膨大な量の情報の記録が可能であり、同一の光デ
ィスクを用いて、別の目的で再生、検索等が必要になる
場合も多いが、本発明によれば同一の光ディスクを共有
して、記録、読取が同時にしかも独立に行なう事ができ
、その効果は犬である。
