ン型燃料ポンプであつて、該ポンプの吸込口と吐
出口との間の燃料の流路にベーパー抜き孔を有す
るものにおいて、形状記憶合金を圧縮コイルばね
の形に成形し記憶処理した形状記憶コイルと通常
のばね材で作つた圧縮コイルばねとを中間に鍔部
を有するロツドに対し互いに押し合うように配置
してなる二方向形状記憶素子と、この二方向形状
記憶素子のロツドの一端に装着されてベーパー抜
き孔に対向する弁体とを設けて、低温時にベーパ
ー抜き孔を閉じる構成としたことを特徴とするタ
