【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は真空脱ガス処理用RH炉等の補修作業
におけるスラグ除去装置に関するものである。

つに実公昭52−56322号公報に記載のスラグ除去
装置がある。この装置においてスラグの除去は組
合せることによつて円筒カツターを形成する2半
割カツター片の昇降によつて付着スラグを除去
し、かつ半割カツター片も半径方向に移動自在で
ある。しかし、同スラグ除去装置におけるカツタ
ー片は上述したごとく2半割片よりなるが、実質
的に円筒状のカツターであり、このカツターが昇
降した場合、カツターは吸上管若しくは排出管全
外周のスラグと耐火物中に喰込み抜けなくなる欠
点がある。また剥離不要な個所を同時に剥離し、
異常な喰込みないし過大な切削負荷を生ずる等の
問題があり、その面での問題を有していた。

を有する小ターンテーブル5を配置し、同小ター
ンテーブル5上に、RH炉の吸上管A若しくは排
出管Bの外周面を円弧状(劣弧状)に包囲する状
態に形成し、さらに上端部にナイフエツジを形成
したカツター片6を立設することによつて形成さ
れる。またこのカツター片6は前記上部機枠2の
昇降に伴い吸上管A若しくは排出管Bの外周面を
昇降し、かつ前記小ターンテーブル5の回転によ
り、吸上管A若しくは排出管Bの廻りを旋回する
よう構成されている。なお本実施例ではカツター
片6の昇降を上部機枠2の昇降によることで構成
したが、カツター片6の昇降装置として前記小タ
ーンテーブル5の下部に流体圧シリンダ等をもう
けた構成にすることも可能である。
