In the mass production of fixed-quantity sheet rolls using sheet dividing and winding devices, most of the processes are mechanized, including winding control, preparatory work such as positioning of the slitter blade and winding arm, and conveyance of the sheet rolls. However, it is difficult to mechanize the above-mentioned sheet roll trailing process without reducing productivity, and to this day the process has relied on manual labor. However, manual processing of the trailing edge of the sheet tends to cause wrinkles and misalignment, resulting in a decrease in product quality. and,
This work is carried out by one person who holds the cut edge of the trailing sheet without distortion, and another person who applies double-sided adhesive tape equal to the width of the sheet horizontally, or places a spirally wound roll (paper tube) close to the cut edge and glues it. This is done in cooperation with the above, so the more sheets are divided, the more labor and time it takes.

This invention was created not just by mechanizing conventional manual work, but by fundamentally reconsidering the tail processing method itself. That is, when adhering the cut end of the sheet to a new winding shaft, the entire width is adhered, but this only needs to be able to hold the sheet until it wraps around the outer circumference of the winding shaft once. The trailing end of the sheet roll may be glued to prevent it from being rewound during transportation.

Therefore, there was no need for full-width bonding of the trailing sheet cut end on either the downstream side, where it is bonded to the circumferential surface of the sheet roll, or the upstream side, where it is bonded to the new winding shaft.

1 to 3 are examples in which the present invention is applied to a divisional distribution winding device with the best performance. A contact roller 1 is fixed in the center, and divided sheet winding arms 2 are lined up on the left and right sides by the number of divisions. Each pair of arms 2
The winding shafts C 1 and C 2 are held between the tips, and the divided sheet S
Make sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 by winding only a certain amount.
The winding shafts C 1 and C 2 initially wind the divided sheet S in contact with the sheet winding positions P 1 and P 2 on the circumferential surface of the contact roller 1 as shown by the chain lines, and as the sheet roll grows, the arms 2 gradually rise. go. After a certain amount of winding is completed, the sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 are separated from the contact roller 1 by standing the arm 2 vertically as shown by the solid line in Figure 1. The trailing sheets S of the sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 are connected to the peripheral surface of the contact roller 1 which is separated from the sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 . Conventionally, the connected trailing sheet S is cut manually, the sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 are carried out, new roll shafts C 1 and C 2 are attached to the ends of the arms, and the contact roller 1 is re-assembled as shown by the chain line in Figure 1. Bring it to the wrapping position. By then, the sheet S cut end (upstream side)
was held down by hand on the circumferential surface of the contact roller, and the cut end or the winding shaft was adhered to the winding shaft (paper tube) with an adhesive (generally double-sided adhesive tape) applied in advance to the winding shaft. The cut ends of the sheet rolls that were carried out were also glued together manually. Note that the wide sheet S 0 rises through each roller below the contact roller 1 and is turned into divided sheets S by the slitter 3 and hung on the contact roller 1 . The common contact roller 1 distributes every other divided sheet S to the left and right, and the divided sheets S are wound onto the winding shafts C 1 and C 2 on both sides, respectively.

Now, the outline of the apparatus of the present invention will first be described with reference to the embodiment shown in FIG . The sheet rolls are fed onto centrally driven winding shafts C 1 and C 2 , respectively.
In the dividing winding device that winds up R 1 and R 2 , it is installed on the running path of the divided sheet S between the slitter 3 and the winding positions P 1 and P 2 , and applies adhesive partially to each divided sheet. The adhesive applying device 4 and the adhesive applying portion of the divided sheet S to which the adhesive T has been applied by the adhesive applying device 4 are connected to the winding axis C 1 ,
A means for advancing the adhesive applying device 4 to near the winding positions P 1 and P 2 by driving C 2 , a lateral positioning mechanism 5 for laterally positioning the adhesive applying device 4 , and a means parallel to each winding roller movable beam 6,
When each of the wound sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 is released from the contact roller 1, the beam 6 is moved to the standby position 6.
A beam drive mechanism 7 moves parallel from 0 to near the winding position and brings each trailing sheet into contact with winding positions P 1 and P 2 on the surface of the contact roller 1, and the movable beam 6 is used as a rail to wind each divided sheet S. Attached position P 1 ,
A cutting device 9 for cutting at P 2 and a sheet roll R 1 ,
When R 2 is rolled up, the adhesive applying device 4 applies adhesive T to the necessary parts of each divided sheet S,
After advancing the entire sheet S a little so that the adhesive application position is near the winding positions P 1 and P 2 , the beam 6 is advanced to the vicinity of the winding positions P 1 and P 2 on the surface of the contact roller to separate each part. The back side of the sheet S in the vicinity of the adhesive T application position is attached or adsorbed to the above-mentioned winding positions P 1 and P 2 , and the cutting device 9 cuts each trailing sheet S as it is.
Either the adhesive is cut just before the adhesive, or each adhesive is separated into two parts.

Although the adhesive applying device 4 may be one that sprays an adhesive liquid, in this embodiment, the adhesive T is a double-sided adhesive tape that has conventionally been used manually. At the current stage, the device that automatically cuts and pastes an appropriate length from a roll of adhesive tape has a large volume and is not suitable for this example, so we cut the adhesive tape to the required length in advance as shown in Figure 6. The piece T was used by temporarily adhering it to a strip material 10 that is easy to peel off. A round hole 11 between the tape pieces T is for position detection. The adhesive tape pieces T are advanced one by one from the roll 12 around which the band material 10 is wound to the tip of the applicator 4, and the round hole 11 is detected and positioned, and the tape is placed on standby.

The movable beam 6 is simply shown in the figure, but it is made by providing a square steel pipe with a slit through which a razor blade runs, and attaching a wheel to the support of the blade so that it can run inside the pipe. The surface in contact with the surface adhesive T is treated so as not to be bonded, or such a material is pasted on it. The cutting device 9 is not limited to a razor blade.

The drive mechanism 7 for the beam 6 advances the beam 6 from the standby position to the vicinity of the winding position P of the contact roller 1 and back again. However, since this embodiment uses a distributed winding method, the winding position is not around the contact roller 1. Since there are winding devices on both sides, first proceed to winding position P 1 on the right side of Figure 1, cut the divided sheets S on this side all at once, then turn to winding device P 2 on the left side of Figure 1 and perform the same function. and then return to the standby position. To facilitate such operations, the drive mechanism 7 of this embodiment is coaxially stopped at both ends of the contact roller 1 at all times.
A beam 6 is fixed between a pair of discs and a rotating mechanism (not shown) that rotates as needed.

Next, the handling of the embodiment apparatus shown in FIG. 1 will be explained.
In this embodiment, the only additions to the conventional equipment are an adhesive applicator 4 and a suction port 8 on the surface of the contact roller 1, and the movable beam 6 is a beam that has been conventionally used as a cutting device for the contact roller 1.
Simply move it along the surface of the sheet and use it to attract the divided sheet S. Therefore, it is necessary to handle new and old parts in such a way that the post-processing method of the present invention can be implemented.

Now, as shown in FIG. 5, the adhesive applying device 4 is positioned in advance so that a pair of divided sheets S are lined up across the boundary line B, and an adhesive (double-sided adhesive tape) is applied to the tip.
T is placed on standby, the movable beam 6 is placed at the standby position 60 , and sheet division and winding proceed as before. When the sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 are wound up at the winding positions P 1 and P 2 on both sides of the contact roller 1, the sheet traveling is stopped and the winding arm 22 is erected vertically as in the conventional manner, resulting in the state shown in FIG. This may be done before the arms 2 and 2 are erected, but first, only the adhesive applying device 4 placed along both edges of the divided (trailing) sheet S that advances to the winding position P 2 is activated, and the adhesive T is applied to the sheet S side. Move to.

Next, the entire sheet S is run for a length equal to the distance between the winding positions P 1 and P 2 and then stopped. Then, this time, the adhesive applying device 4 is activated toward both edges of the divided (trailing) sheet S that advances to the wrapping position P1 . The adhesive T is now applied alternately as shown in FIG.

The adhesive T applying device 4 is arranged in three places along both edges and in the center for a wide divided sheet S, and in one place in the center for a narrower divided sheet S. do it. It is also a good idea to prepare two types of adhesive applicators, one for wide widths and one for narrow widths, and replace them as appropriate. By selecting and using the placement and function of the application device, adhesives T can be applied in several places in the width direction of the sheet S, in one place widely in the center, in a thin strip in the running direction of the sheet S, or in the width direction. It can be changed in various ways, such as by attaching it to a long and thin line. Traveling, stopping, and travel distance detection of the entire seat S can be automatically performed using known equipment.

Therefore, both plates of the beam drive mechanism 7 are rotated around the axis of the contact roller 1, and the movable beam 6 is first advanced to the vicinity of the winding position P1 . This is also easy to automate since it is a fixed amount rotation. The trailing sheet S pushed by this beam 6 has a slight sheet roll R 1
is rewound and wound around the circumferential surface of the contact roller 1, and is connected to the sheet roll R1 from the winding position P1 via the beam 6, as shown by the solid line in FIG. Then, the back side of the sheet S at the adhesive application position is placed on the wrapping position P.

In this embodiment, the central part of the length of the adhesive T is above the winding position P, and only the rear part thereof is placed on the circumferential surface of the contact roller. Since the traveling control of the seat S is performed precisely, it is easy to position it as shown above.

In this way, the upstream side of the trailing sheet cut end is attracted to the winding positions P 1 and P 2 and remains on the contact roller 1, and the downstream cut end is attached to the sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 .
They hang down from each other. The latter is bonded via the first half of the adhesive T by winding up the sheet rolls R 1 and R 2 before transporting them and pressing them lightly against the roll circumferential surface using simple equipment or by hand.

In the above embodiment, the case where each adhesive T is divided into front and back parts is illustrated, but if the beam 6 is gathered a little more by the drive mechanism 7, the sheet S will be cut just before the adhesive T. In this case, the adhesive T is attached only to the tip of the trailing sheet on the upstream side, and the new winding shaft C 1 ,
It will be used only for adhesion to C 2 .

A contact roller with a suction port is not essential to the implementation of this invention. In other words, the means for leaving the upstream side of the trailing sheet cut end on the contact roller surface is not limited to vacuum suction; for example, selecting a position such as winding position P2 where it remains attached to the contact roller surface even after the sheet is cut due to its own weight, If the sheet is relatively easy to adapt, it is up to the engineer to take advantage of the natural adhesion caused by static electricity generated on the contact roller during the winding process, or proactively apply a little adhesive to the other side of the sheet. .

This invention paved the way for efficient mechanization of the processing of the trailing portion of a split winding sheet. This eliminates the conventional common sense of trailing treatment in which the entire width of the cut end of the trailing sheet is glued to the winding shaft and the circumferential surface of the sheet roll, and shows that it is sufficient to glue only a portion of each trailing sheet cut. In addition, even if adhesive is used for a relatively long time in the longitudinal direction of the sheet, the amount required is drastically reduced compared to conventional adhesives, and by cutting the trailing sheet, adhesive can be applied to both cut ends at once, and each adhesive Since the length can be made longer in the sheet traveling direction, deviations in the cutting position due to mechanical errors in the sheet traveling stop mechanism can be largely tolerated, and effects such as easy mechanization can be obtained. Moreover, this invention can be realized by utilizing conventional equipment and simply modifying its application, drive mechanism, and operation control. Moreover, since the divided sheet to which adhesive has been applied is cut after reaching the winding position under a predetermined tension, the divided sheet to be used for the next winding is adhered to the winding shaft without distortion or sagging. With this invention, the conventional large amount of labor and time required for tail processing can be changed to a short time by pressing a button, making it more efficient.
The quality effect is enormous.
