Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the calorific value of the burner and to suppress the lifting of a flame by forming a main burner body into a negative electrode and a conductor disposed in opposite to each of burner ports into a positive electrode, forming an air-fuel mixed gas on the inner side of a vane of a centrifugal gan, and supplying the same to the burner ports thereby to miniaturize the burner. CONSTITUTION:A fuel gas is supplied through a fuel supply nozzle 6 to the inner side of a vane 4a of a centrifugal fan 4, and is mixed with air derived through an air suction port 5. The thus mixed air-fuel mixed gas is supplied to burner ports 2 and 3 by means of the vane 4a. On the other hand, a secondary fuel gas is supplied to burner ports 2 through fuel gas supply paths 7 thereby set the fuel gas concentration at the burner ports 2 higher than that at the burner ports 3. Then, the main burner body 1 is formed into a negative electrode and a conductor disposed in opposite to each of burner ports 2 and 3 into a positive electrode, and a DC current of 3-8kV is applied thereto to ignite the same. By this constitution, the burner can be miniaturized and the calorific value thereof can be increased.

The characteristic configuration of the present invention is that a fuel gas supply nozzle is arranged inside the blade of a centrifugal fan, and a large number of flame ports are provided for spouting the air-fuel mixture gas supplied by the blade into the burner body surrounding the outside of the blade. A 3 to 8 KV DC power source is provided in which a negative electrode is connected to the burner body and a positive electrode is connected to a conductor placed opposite to the burner, and its effects are as follows. be.

In other words, the fuel gas supplied to the inside of the blade by the nozzle and the air sucked in by the blade are thoroughly mixed through the blade and sent to the numerous flame ports formed on the outer periphery of the blade. A flame is formed at each outlet,
By integrally forming the centrifugal fan and the burner, the entire device can be made much smaller than the prior art described above.

Furthermore, by connecting the negative electrode of the DC power source to the burner body and the positive electrode to the conductor facing the flame nozzle, an electric field is created at the location where the flame is formed. The flame is electrically drawn toward the burner body, suppressing flame lift even when the combustion chamber load is increased, and achieving good combustion.

To explain further, by changing the air ratio and combustion chamber load variously, the flame lift region and stable combustion region were investigated for the device of the present invention having a DC power source of 3 to ν and a comparative device without a DC power source. The results shown in FIG. 4 were obtained. In other words, in the device of the present invention, flame lift occurs in the region above the solid line and stable combustion occurs in the region below the solid line, whereas in the comparative device, flame lift occurs in the region above the dotted line, and the flame lift occurs in the region below the solid line. Stable combustion occurred in the lower region, confirming the fact that the device of the present invention can increase the combustion chamber load without flame lift.

In other words, an electric field is formed at the location where the flame is formed by the flame ports (2) and (3), and the flame is electrically drawn toward the burner body (1) by the action of ions in the flame. This is to prevent flame lift due to an increased load on the combustion chamber, thereby making it possible to more fully improve the heating capacity and expand the turndown ratio.
