常な選別作用時よりも上方に運ばれ受入側延長部
1の供給側Xに形設された後退部M内を矢印ロで
示すように落下し再び選別筒体4の内周面にそつ
ての上昇の過程を辿るのである。

上への浮上は充分とは云えず掬い上げられる玄米
につれられてかなり上方にまで運ばれるがこれら
の籾は上記後退部を通して還元され冒頭に記載の
如き選別初期における欠点とするところを解消し
選別純度を高め能率を上げ得る効果を奏するので
ある。
