In the conventional air conditioner of this type, as shown in FIG.
3, and the drain tray 30 is only used for collecting and draining liquid, and has a structure that does not allow air to pass through at all, so air is not sucked into every corner of the room, especially near the floor. There is inadequate and unsatisfactory air conditioning. Furthermore, due to the mounting position of the suction port, the heat exchanger is disposed in such a way that it takes up space in the vertical direction, resulting in a problem that the main body itself becomes large.

By making the gutter member of the upper drain tray movable up and down in this way, the gutter member 9 of the lower drain tray can be moved up and down.
The distance l between the drain tray and the drain tray can be adjusted, thereby making it possible to adjust the volume of air passing through the drain tray. This is based on the degree of clogging of the filter 3 and pre-filter 8.
It has the advantage of being able to adjust the amount of air circulating inside.

As mentioned above, the air conditioner of the present invention has a two-stage gutter-like drain tray with an opening located above, which is disposed below the heat exchanger disposed inside the air conditioner main body. The condensed water can be completely collected and drained, and the tray has a ventilation path that allows the air sucked in from the air intake port on the floor of the main body to pass through to the heat exchanger side. By forming it on the surface, complete air conditioning can be achieved in every corner of the room and near the floor, and by making the upper drain pan move up and down, the air volume can be adjusted according to the degree of filter clogging. In addition, by making the drain tray have a structure with a ventilation passage as described above, the space inside the main body can be used without wasting it, and therefore a heat exchanger with a large heat exchange capacity that can perform heat exchange well can be created. This type of air conditioner is particularly effective in that it can be installed inside the main body and the main body itself can be made smaller than conventional ones.
