(b) Prior art Conventionally, as shown in Figure 2, for example, a protective cover for a yagura kotatsu has a cover part b that covers a heating element a such as an infrared lamp, and a mounting for attaching the cover part b to the ceiling of the yagura kotatsu. It is formed from a frame part c and a switch panel part d. The cover part b, the mounting frame part c, and the switch panel part d are each formed separately, and the mounting frame part c is fixed to the upper opening periphery of the cover part b, and the switch panel part is attached to one side of the cover part b. By fixing part d, the protective cover is formed into a framework.

However, the cover part b is formed of wire or lath into a basket shape having a mesh-like opening, and there is a problem in that it is easily deformed by external force. In addition, because a so-called flocking process is performed in which short fibers are electrostatically attached to the entire outer periphery, if used for a long time, the short fibers may come off due to friction from people's hands or feet, exposing the wire. There was a problem that there was a risk of burns. Furthermore, switch panel part d is removed from cover part b.
In order to attach the cover part b to the switch panel, it is necessary to cut it into a predetermined shape and screw it to the mounting frame part c, which is a troublesome installation process. Insulating treatment such as interposing an insulating spacer between the part d and the part d is required, which poses a problem in that the number of parts increases and manufacturing becomes extremely complicated. In addition, the switch panel part d
has a dial e for adjusting power consumption and a socket h into which a switch f or a plug g is inserted.
etc. are provided. i is a reflection plate that reflects the heat rays of the heating element a, and j is a temperature adjustment mechanism section containing a built-in thermostat and the like.

The protective cover 1 consists of a cover part 6 and a mounting frame part 7 for attaching the cover part 6 to the ceiling of a tower (not shown), and is integrally molded from a polybutylene terephthalate plastic material. Note that the plastic material contains, for example, 30% glass fiber for reinforcement to maintain the rigidity and strength of the protective cover 1.

Specifically, the cover portion 6 is formed in a cage shape having an upper opening 60 that constitutes a tapered surface that narrows slightly toward the bottom surface 62 of the cover portion 6. The side surface 61 of the cover portion 6, excluding the portion of the switch panel portion 9 described later, is formed by a plurality of vertical ribs 8 and horizontal ribs 9 as shown in FIG. 1b.
It is formed in a lattice pattern with an opening rate of approximately 70% or more.
The bottom surface 62 also has vertical and horizontal ribs similar to the vertical and horizontal ribs 8 and 9, and has an opening rate of about 70%.
The cover portion 6 is formed in a lattice shape as described above.
The mounting frame portion 7 is formed integrally with the cover portion 6 around the upper opening 60 .

Further, a switch panel section 9 is integrally provided on one side 61a of the cover section 6, and as shown in the figure, a temperature adjustment mechanism section 10 having a built-in thermostat etc.
A dial 11 connected to the power supply, a switch 12 for switching power consumption, and a socket 1 into which a plug 14 is inserted via a connection cord 13 from a power source (not shown).
5 etc. are arranged in the switch panel section 9.

Further, the mounting frame portion 7 is thicker than the cover portion 6 and is formed into a substantially rectangular ring shape, with a peripheral surface slightly projecting outward to form a flange portion of the protective cover 1. A pair of protrusions 16 are provided on one side of the mounting frame 7 to protrude laterally and outwardly, and a pair of screw holes 17 are provided on opposite sides of the protrusions 16. A pair of screw holes 18 are also bored on each of the two sides. Note that the reflecting plate 2 has hole portions 19 and 18 corresponding to the screw holes 17 and 18, respectively.

Thus, the reflective plate 2 to which the heating element 4 is attached is made to correspond to the upper opening of the protective cover 1, and the screw 2
1 is inserted into the hole 20 of the reflection plate 2 and screwed into the screw hole 18 of the mounting frame 7. The protective cover 1 with the upper opening covered with the reflector 2 is attached to the ceiling of a tower (not shown) in the following steps. This is done by fitting the screws 22 into the mounting holes of the tower, which are drilled corresponding to the screw holes 17 and holes 19.

(F) Effect As mentioned above, in this invention, the cover part, mounting frame part, and switch panel part are integrally molded from plastic material, and the mounting frame part is made thicker than the cover part, so that external force is reduced. It is possible to obtain a protective cover for a tower kotatsu that does not easily deform even when subjected to stress and has great rigidity and strength. In addition, unlike conventional products, there is no fear that short fibers attached to wires or the like may come off due to friction, and the cover becomes a safe protective cover with no risk of burns. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a protective cover that is extremely easy to manufacture and inexpensive, since there is no need to cut the cover section, fix it with screws, etc., and there is no need to insert an insulating spacer between the cover section and the switch panel section. can.
