Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent sudden generation of red flames by providing a metal net of steel material which has heat resistance and minute corrugated shape at the inner wall of the bottom face of a carburetor cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A throttle device 5 is provided at the upper section of a carburetor cylinder 1. The throttle device 5 serves mainly for promoting the mixing of the vaporized fuel which flows in and the air, and the mixture gas flow which ascends through said throttle device 5 passes through a flow straightening member 7 and flows to the outer circumference from the central opening of a flow dividing plate 8 and burns by a flame hole section 6. At the bottom face of the carburetor cylinder 1 a metal net 10 of steel material is provided. With the above described constitution, even during the control at most suitable vaporization conditions by a temperature sensing element which becomes a heating control device for a heater 4 provided at a section of the carburetor cylinder 1 or during the state of vaporization under high temperature over 280 deg.C, the kerosene particles which hit the face opposite to the nozzle 2 of the carburetor cylinder 1 are always prevented from sudden dispersion by the corrugated surface of the metal net 10 so that no red flame is developed during the combustion at the flame hole section 6 through the throttle section, etc.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, this type of oil combustor is a vaporizing cylinder made of a molded material in which a heater 4 for heating and vaporizing liquid fuel (kerosene, etc.) is embedded in a part of the cylinder with a bottom, as shown in Fig. 3. 1, a fuel injection nozzle 2 facing inward from the outside side of the vaporization cylinder 1, and a throat part 3 disposed on the concentric outer periphery of the nozzle 2 for ejecting combustion air. A constriction section 5 is arranged above to promote mixing of the vaporized fuel and air that have flowed in.

From this configuration, when using liquid fuel such as kerosene, the vaporizer cylinder 1
A part of the heater 4 is equipped with a temperature detection element to control the heating of the heater 4 or to create optimal fuel vaporization conditions. For example, in the case of kerosene, it measures the temperature of the vaporization surface of the vaporizer cylinder 1 facing the nozzle 2 and the bottom surface near it. The temperature was controlled at around 250°C.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with such a configuration, the temperature may sometimes exceed 280°C even when the heater 4 is turned off due to heat feedback from combustion, changes in fuel supply amount, air amount, etc. As the vaporization form of the fuel shifts to the film boiling region, the vaporized particles become coarser and the mixing balance is disrupted, leading to the sudden occurrence of red flames.

A vaporizer tube 1 made of a molded material in which a heater 4 for heating and vaporizing liquid fuel (white kerosene in this example) is embedded in a part of the bottomed cylinder, and a side surface of the vaporizer tube 1 that faces inside from the outside. It has a nozzle 2 for ejecting fuel, and a throat part 3 disposed concentrically on the outer circumference of the nozzle 2 and ejecting combustion air, and one of the nozzles 2 is supplied with fuel by a pump,
A blower (not shown) is connected to one side of the throat portion 3. A constriction part 5 is disposed above the vaporization cylinder 1 to mainly promote mixing of the vaporized fuel and air that has flowed in, and the air mixture that rises through the constriction part 5 is directed by a rectifying member 7 made of wire mesh or punched metal. The flame flows through the central opening of the cylindrical flow divider plate 8 to the outer periphery and is combusted through the flame hole 6. A cap 9 is provided on the upper surface of the flame hole 6 to close it off.

Further, the bottom surface of the vaporizing cylinder 1 is provided with a wire mesh 10 made of a copper-based material according to the present invention. Specifically, it has one of the following structures.

With the above configuration, a temperature detection element (not shown) that serves as a heating control means for the heater 4 is installed in a part of the vaporization cylinder 1 to control the optimum vaporization conditions or when the vaporization state is at a high temperature exceeding 280°C. However, since the kerosene particles that always hit the surface facing the nozzle 2 of the vaporizer tube 1 are prevented from suddenly scattering by the uneven surface of the wire mesh 10 on the bottom, they reach the flame hole section 6 through the constriction section 5 etc. and are burned. There is no occurrence of red fire.

In addition, in the present invention, the wire mesh 10 made of a copper-based material is fixed to the inner wall of the bottom surface of the vaporizer cylinder 1 with an inorganic adhesive, or is coated with heat-resistant paint, and has the same effect as the above-mentioned embodiment. The wire mesh 10 made of a copper-based material does not move due to impact or the like during transportation, making it more stable.

Effects of the Invention In the present invention, since a wire mesh made of a copper-based material is provided on the inner wall of the bottom of the vaporization cylinder, the vaporization conditions can be lowered from 250°C to 280°C than in the past.
Even when the temperature exceeds ℃, the fuel particles that enter the vaporization cylinder are always vaporized in a good form without film boiling, and combustion continues, which expands the combustion range and prevents deterioration. It has the advantage of being able to vaporize even the fuel that has been burned, extending the life of the product, and allowing a wider range of fuels to be combusted.
