付構造に係り、更に詳しくは、ベースマフラーと
カバーマフラーなどからなる組合わせ型マフラー
の取付構造に関する。

に示す如く、ボルト座3bを介してカバーマフラ
ー3に接触保持する2個のボルト5をマフラー筐
体1に貫通させ排気口部6に螺合している。この
時、ベースマフラー2の係合部2aはカバーマフ
ラー3の被係合部3aに遮蔽板4を介して係合圧
接する。7は補強用の管筒である。

なければならない事態にもつながるという欠点を
有していた。そこでそれを解消すべく他の従来技
術にあつては第2図に示す如く、細長い厚板の両
端部をそれぞれ垂直に折曲げてコ字状に形成し、
この折曲部のうち、カバーマフラー13取付側1
5a,15′aには螺刻し、ベースマフラー12
取付側15b,15′bには穿孔した2個のマフ
ラー取付部材15,15′を用意した。なお取付
部材15,15′のそれぞれ両端折曲部15a,
15b、及び15′a,15′bの外側面間の間隔
は、ベースマフラー12の係合部12aをカバー
マフラー13の被係合部13aに係合圧接せしめ
るマフラー筐体11の内面間の間隔に相応するも
