Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit sharp printing of an image to paper by forming an electrostatic latent image on the outer circumference of a photosensitive body, developing the image, transferring the developed toner image to the paper by a transfer paper and fixing the image by a fixing roller. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral face of the photosensitive body 1 is first electrostatically charged by an electrostatic charger 2 in the process of rotating the body 1 one turn and a laser beam is scanned from an exposing device 3 to this charged part to form the electrostatic latent image thereon; this electrostatic latent image is developed by a developing device 5. On the other hand, the paper 9 is drawn out by a paper feed roller 10 and in succession, the paper is supplied between the body 1 and a transfer charger 6 by a paper feed roller 12. The toner image on the body 1 is then transferred on the paper 9 by the charger 6. The paper 9 is conveyed along a conveyance path 15 in succession thereof and is nipped by fixing rollers 13, 14, by which the toner image on the paper 9 is fixed. The printing to the high image quality is thereby permitted.

Next, a fixed blade 16 is installed downstream of the fixing rollers 13 and 14.
A cutting mechanism 18 formed by a movable blade 17 is provided, and a supply reel 20 and a take-up reel 21 for winding the mount 19 from both ends are provided downstream of the cutting mechanism 18. A support for supporting a part of the support is provided with a pressing body 23 facing a stand 22 held by a plunger of a solenoid 24. Furthermore, a label peeling means 25 that bends the path of the mount 19 at an acute angle is provided. Note that the mount 19 is wound around a supply reel 20 and a take-up reel 21 so that the surface coated with adhesive faces outward.

In such a configuration, in the process of rotating the photoreceptor 1 once, the outer peripheral surface of the photoreceptor 1 is first charged by the charger 2, and a laser beam is scanned by the exposure device 3 on this charged portion to form an electrostatic latent image. Then, this electrostatic latent image is developed by a developing device 5. On the one hand, paper 9 is pulled out by paper feed roller 10 and then fed between photoreceptor l and transfer charger 6 by paper feed roller 12 . Therefore, the toner image on the photoreceptor 1 is transferred to the paper 9 by the transfer charger 6. Subsequently, the paper 9 is conveyed along the conveyance path 15 and is held between the rotating fixing rollers 13 and 14 to form the paper 9.
The upper toner image is fixed.

Then, the take-up reel 21 rotates at regular intervals to
Wind up 9 at equal pitch. In response to this movement, the movable blade 17
is lowered, and the suppressor 23 is lowered by the excitation operation of the solenoid 24. Therefore, the paper 9 on which predetermined data has been printed is cut by the fixed blade 16 and the movable blade 17, and is stuck to the adhesive layer of the mount 19 by the suppressor 23. Subsequently, the cut paper 9 is peeled off from the mount 19 by a label peeling means 25 where the mount 19 is bent and issued as a label, and at this time, the adhesive on the mount 19 adheres to the back side of the paper 9.

As described above, since the adhesive adheres to the paper 9 after passing through the fixing rollers 13 and 14, the adhesive does not adhere to the fixing rollers 13 and 14. Further, a clear image can be printed on the paper 9 by the electrophotographic device, and printing noise can also be reduced.

Note that the paper 9 is not limited to a cut sheet, and a long paper 26 wound into a roll may also be used. Alternatively, an endless mount 19 may be used. In this case, it is preferable to add a mechanism for applying adhesive to the surface of the mount 19.

Furthermore, the take-up reel 21 on which the mount 19 is wound may be attached to a label peeling device such as another hand labeler, and the paper 9 may be peeled from the mount 19 to be issued as a label. Therefore, the label printer does not need to be equipped with the label peeling means 25.

Effects of the Invention Since the present invention is configured as described above, an electrostatic latent image is formed on the outer periphery of the photoreceptor by the electrostatic latent image forming means, and this electrostatic latent image is developed by the developing device. By transferring the toner image onto paper by a transfer unit and fixing the toner image on the paper by a fixing roller, the image can be printed clearly on the paper, and printing noise can be reduced, and further, The paper after fixing can be cut into the size of the label by the cutting mechanism, and the cut paper can be sequentially attached to the backing paper by the pressing body, thereby preventing the adhesive from adhering to the fixing roller. It has the following effects.
