That is, the present invention is a method for transporting tar sludge, in which the tar sludge is agitated and mixed using a stirrer having a shearing force to shear the tar sludge to reduce its viscosity, and then the tar sludge is transported through a pipe.

These tar sludges consist of a mixture of solid particles such as coal powder and coke powder and liquid components such as tar and water. Most of the solid content coagulates with tar etc. as a binder,
In the present invention, these aggregates are called solid particle aggregates.Since tar sludge is a solid-liquid mixture with high viscosity, it is very difficult to remove the plate. In this state, it is virtually impossible to transport via piping.

! It has been found that this is due to the presence of particles, especially solid particle aggregates with a diameter of Q, 1 mm or more. Further, when the solid particles exist alone without forming aggregates, even if the diameter of the solid particles is larger than 0.1 mm, the influence on the viscosity is small.

Knowledge has shown that this can be achieved by stirring and mixing with a stirrer with shear forces.

Examples of such a stirrer include those having stirring blades such as propellers, turbines, disc impellers, and the like. This stirrer has a small effect of crushing the hard solid reward particles themselves, but produces an effect of dividing the Jtfi bodies in which the solid snow particles are agglomerated with a weak force. Stirring and mixing of the tar sludge is performed until the viscosity of the tar sludge becomes a predetermined viscosity, preferably 250p or less. WL stirring and mixing are performed using a normal stirring arm-shaped stirrer at a rotation speed of 100 to 400.
r, p, s, It is desirable to set the circumferential speed to about 5 to 20 m/sec or higher and to carry out for about 3 to 5 minutes.

This pipe transportation can be carried out using a reciprocating pump, screw pump, tube pump, etc. as the driving force. At this time, it is preferable that the flow velocity of the tar sludge is approximately 0.05 to 0.2 m/sec.

It was found that it has the effect of Therefore, adding these ammonium sludges to tar sludge as the above-mentioned fluid is advantageous in terms of preventing solid particles and solid particle aggregates in tar sludge from re-agglomerating during pipe transportation. . This effect becomes most noticeable when the amount of ammonium sludge added is 50W% of the tar sludge. Note that ammonium chloride has a viscosity of 250p or less in most cases, and has the effect of reducing the viscosity of tar sludge as well as the effect of increasing the degree of viscosity reduction by stirring tar sludge.
