Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a plate material extremely thin and thereby enable a variety of printing plates to be manufactured all at once by making an intaglio plate based on a plate material ground after application of copper plating on a raw roll and separating a copper plated layer while ripping it properly. CONSTITUTION:First, copper is plated as a surfacing coat on an iron roll, then is ground. After this, this copper-coated roll is either further plated with silver or treated with acelenic acid, so that a raw roll from which a copper plated layer can easily be separated is manufactured. Next, for instance, copper is plated on the raw roll in the thickness of 150-200 microns, then is subjected to precision cylindrical grinding. Consequently, a plate material for a copper plated layer is prepared. As a next step, various printing information is printed by step and repeat printing on the copper plated layer, and this layer is permitted to undergo processes such as development, etching and regist separation. Further, the layer is chromium-plated, for instance, in the thickness of 5-10 microns in order to provide it with resistance to plate wear. Subsequently, a net intaglio plate containing various printing information is finished. Then the copper plated layer is separated so that printing information may not be damaged, and the net intaglio plate curled up is introduced into between rolls to be flattened, and cut to a required size in accordance with printing information with the use of scissors or a cutter.

<Prior Art> In curved surface printing such as transfer printing applied to the inner or outer surface of a three-dimensional curved object, such as a teacup, a pad made of a flexible material is used so as to be able to closely adhere to the inner or outer surface of the teacup. In the case of transfer printing applied to the outer surface of a teacup, the pad has a smooth ink transfer surface, and in the case of transfer printing applied to the inner surface of a teacup, the ink transfer surface is smooth and flat. The corresponding convex curved surface is used to allow close contact. Then, the curved surface printing with the pad has a thickness of 5 mm to 10 mm.
Create an intaglio plate on a hard metal plate with a diameter of 1.2 mm, apply ink, stretch the ink with a doctor or roll and scrape it off to put the ink into the cells, press a pad against this to transfer the ink, and the ink gets on it. When the pad is pressed against the outer or inner surface of the teacup, the ink is transferred to the teacup again, and curved surface printing is performed.

However, as mentioned above, in the conventional pad printing process, intaglio plates were created one by one using hard metal plates with a thickness of 5 mm to 10 mm, which resulted in high plate material and plate making costs. It's attached.

<Structure of the Invention> The method of manufacturing an intaglio plate for pad printing of the present invention involves applying copper plating to an original roll from which the copper plating can be easily peeled off and polishing it to produce an intaglio plate as a plate material, so as not to damage the printed information. The method is characterized in that the copper plating layer is peeled off while being cut as appropriate, and then cutting to an appropriate size according to the printed information and rolling out into a flat shape are performed in any order. be.

The original roll from which the copper plating can be easily peeled off may be a stainless steel roll or a roll obtained by plating a copper base on an iron roll, polishing the roll, and then plating the roll with silver or treating it with acelenic acid. Alternatively, a roll formed by nickel plating and polishing an iron roll and then forming an oxide film on its surface can be used.

以下に、実施例により、詳細に説明する。Examples will be described in detail below.

First, an iron roll is plated with a copper base, polished, and then plated with silver or treated with acelenic acid to create an original roll from which the copper plating can be easily removed.

Next, the original roll is coated with copper plating to a thickness of 150 to 200 microns and precisely cylindrically polished to produce a plate material with a copper plating layer. Then, after printing various types of printed information on the copper plating layer on multiple sides, developing, etching, and removing the resist, and applying chrome plating of about 5 to 10 microns to increase printing durability, the various types of printed information can be printed on the copper plating layer. A net intaglio plate with the following properties is completed.

Next, it is peeled off so as not to damage the printed information. To do this, first, use a chisel to turn up both ends of the roll to create a ridge for the thorns. Then, use radio pliers to flip up this handle and make a slit in the circumferential direction. After making cuts in the circumferential direction on both ends of the roll, next make cuts in the longitudinal direction of the roll surface. At this time, make sure that there are no notches in the print information. Then, when you evenly roll up the notched side along the length of the roll surface over the entire length, a large square mesh intaglio is rolled up! ! Female can do it.
