The air sucked in from the suction port 1 passes through the heat exchanger 4 and is blown out toward the blowout [12] by the cross 70-fan 5. The flow at this time is shown in FIG. As shown in the figure, the stabilizer 7 has a thin area. This part has a circular flow. Induced by this thin circulation, the main flow flows from the suction port 11 toward the outlet port 2.

FIG. 2 is an equal noise diagram when a heat exchanger is provided with heat exchanger tubes of equal pitch. This figure shows an iso-noise diagram of a second-order 2NZ sound, which is a Nz sound of rotation speed N x number of blades 2, which is generally called rotational noise. In the figure, the areas shown in a net shape are
This is the place with the highest noise level. As is clear from this figure, the 2Nz sound is generated from the area where the heat exchanger and crossflow fan are close to each other. Next, the cause of this will be explained with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 is a flow line of an air conditioner having a heat exchanger with equal pitch heat transfer tubes. As can be seen from the figure, the streamlines are dense in the part where the heat exchanger and the cross-flow fan are close to each other. This is the same as the section. In this section, the airflow path is narrow and the flow is large, so the wind speed becomes very high, so the collision speed with the heat transfer tube is also high, which causes noise. .Furthermore, since the flow downstream of the heat transfer tube becomes larger, the degree of turbulence of the flow flowing into the cross-flow fan increases, which also causes noise. Therefore, in this example, the air The heat exchanger 4 of the harmonizer is a cross 7
In a portion 10 where the 0-fan 5 and the heat exchanger 4 are close to each other, the pitch of the heat transfer tube group 9 is set to a long pitch, and the overall pitch is unequal. Therefore, since the passage area becomes large in the long pitch portion 10, the wind speed becomes slow. Furthermore, since there is no collision with the heat exchanger tube group 9, collision noise is also eliminated. Moreover, since the turbulence in the wake of the heat exchanger tube group 9 is eliminated, the turbulence in the air flowing from the cross 70 to the fan 5 is reduced, and the noise is also reduced. Furthermore, the ventilation resistance increases and the flow characteristics also deteriorate.

This makes it possible to improve flow characteristics and reduce collision noise and noise caused by flow turbulence.

This means that the pitch is small in parts where the suction wind speed is slow, and it is made large in parts where the suction wind speed is fast. By adopting such a configuration, in addition to obtaining the same effect as the first embodiment in terms of noise,
Since more heat exchanger tubes are inserted than in the first embodiment, there is an effect that the heat exchanger capacity is increased.

In the upper part, heat exchanger tube groups 9 are inserted at equal pitches, and in the lower part, no heat exchanger tube groups 9 are inserted. With this configuration, effects similar to those of the first embodiment can be obtained. Secondly, it is easy to manufacture.

In this case, if the collar is not placed upright, a hole may be left in place.
