ができ、又片手で持つて治療中不用意に係合が解
放されることも無く安全であり且つ軸方向及び円
周方向に安定した係合が維持可能となり、更に装
着空間が小さいため接続装置の設置位置が適宜選
択しやすくなり、その実用的効果は非常に大きい
ものがある。

接続体の雌体とを係合手段を介して着脱自在に
接続するハンドピースの接続装置において、前
記係合手段は、少なくとも180゜より大きい円弧
形状を成した弾性枠体であつて、その外径部に
ハンドピースの一方の接続体である円筒状雌体
内径部の円周方向の溝に係合しハンドピースの
長手方向における係合を行う係合爪と、雌体の
切欠き部に嵌合する突出体とを形成し、且つそ
の内径部にハンドピースの他方の接続体である
円筒状雄体外径部の凹部に嵌合する突出体を前
記係合爪を挾んで円周方向において前記外径部
の突出体の反対側において形成し、前記接続体
の雄体と雌体とを相対的に回転させることによ
り、前記弾性枠体の弾性に抗して前記係合爪を
求心方向へ移動させ前記接続体の雄体と雌体の
係合を解くことを特徴とするハンドピースの接
続装置。 2 前記弾性枠体が、リングの一部を切り欠いた
C形状を成した実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項
