DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a so-called honeycomb-shaped adhesive member in which adhesiveness is imparted to the inner surface of the honeycomb-shaped member, and more specifically to a honeycomb-shaped dust collector used in an electrostatic precipitator. The present invention relates to a method of providing an adhesive on the inner wall of a honeycomb such as an electrode.

Conventionally, in electrostatic precipitators, there was a method to prevent the collected dust from scattering again by providing an adhesive layer such as mineral oil or ethylene glycol on the surface of the dust collecting electrode.
Dust collecting electrodes using such low-viscosity adhesives have the disadvantage that when a large amount of dust accumulates, they fall off and scatter again due to vibrations or the like.

There are high-viscosity adhesives such as rubber-based adhesives and resin-based adhesives that are difficult to re-splatter even if the amount of accumulated dust increases, but these high-viscosity adhesives have poor fluidity. Therefore, unlike low-viscosity adhesives, it cannot be applied by dipping or spraying, but instead is applied using a blade or roll.

Therefore, such a high-viscosity adhesive cannot be used as is to apply it to a narrow area such as the inner surface of a honeycomb-shaped dust collecting electrode; it must be lowered to a lower viscosity using a diluent before being applied by dipping or spraying. Since the adhesive must be applied by twisting the adhesive, it is troublesome to perform strict masking to prevent the diluent from drying and from adhering the undesirable high-viscosity adhesive to areas other than the required areas.

Generally, an electrostatic precipitator has many voids within the device due to its function, so it is desirable from the viewpoint of transportation costs to assemble disposable dust collecting electrodes, especially in air cleaners for the general public, immediately before use.

However, although it is possible to cut the adhesive member into a predetermined size in advance with the adhesive honeycomb-shaped dust collection electrode, it is difficult to remove the release paper after assembly due to its structure, so it is difficult to remove the release paper after assembly. Electrodes were practically impossible.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional method, and to provide an adhesive honeycomb-shaped dust collector that has extremely low re-scattering, does not require drying of the diluent or strict masking, is easy to assemble, and is low-cost. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a honeycomb-shaped adhesive member that realizes an electrode.

In the present invention, when providing a highly adhesive high-viscosity adhesive on the inner surface of a honeycomb-shaped member, the adhesive is handled separately into two components: a non-adhesive solid component and a liquid component. It's on,
Since the adhesiveness is developed at the final stage, there is no need to worry about the adhesiveness of the material during the manufacturing process.

Furthermore, when assembling sheet-like members to make an adhesive honeycomb member, in the present invention, adhesiveness is only developed by adding a non-adhesive component at the final stage of the process, so release paper is required during the process. Therefore, the present invention enables a substantially prefabricated adhesive honeycomb-shaped dust collection electrode at a low cost.
