Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the rigidity of a containing housing, and to exactly record information contained in a light beam to a photosensitive body, by forming in a small way a long hole for emitting a light beam, formed in the containing housing. CONSTITUTION:A light source 3, a light beam deflecting means 4 and an image forming lens system 7 are contained and installed in an integral containing housing 21, and also, on a side wall 21b of the containing housing 21 positioned immediately behind the image forming lens system 7, a long hole 21c running along the main scanning direction of a light beam 2 deflected by the light beam deflecting means 4, is formed, and the light beam guide through the long hole 21c is guided to a photosensitive body 8 through a mirror 9. Accordingly, it will suffice that length and an area of the long hole 21c for guiding the light beam 2, formed in the containing housing 21 are small. In such a way, a mechanical rigidity of the containing housing 21 is improved, and information contained in the light beam can be recorded exactly to the photosensitive body 8.

Each of the above-mentioned components is hermetically housed in an integrated housing casing 10, and at the rear of the bottom surface 10a of the housing casing 10 is a light beam emitting device along the main scanning direction (scanning direction) of the light beam 2. A long hole 10b is formed. The elongated hole 10b is sealed with a transparent dustproof member 11 (for example, transparent glass or a hard-coated polymer material) as shown in FIG. In FIG. 6, reference numeral 12 denotes a casing of the main body of the optical recording apparatus, 12a a window for guiding a light beam formed on the upper surface of the casing 12, and 13 a lid for sealing the housing casing 10.

By the way, according to the conventional optical beam deflection device 1 described above, the bottom surface 1 of the housing casing 10 that houses the components of this device
0a, and below a mirror 9 installed at a position where the optical path length of the light beam is long with respect to the light beam deflection means 4,
Since the elongated hole 10b is formed along the scanning direction of the light beam 2, the length and cross-sectional area of this elongated hole 10b are increased.
For this reason, the mechanical rigidity of the housing case 10 against external forces is extremely low, and the process of forming the elongated hole 10b deforms the housing case 10, which not only reduces the manufacturing accuracy of the housing case 10 itself, but also causes There is a risk that the recording device may be deformed when it is attached to the recording device main body 12 or after the attachment. Note that if the relative mounting positions of the components constituting the light beam deflection device @1 are shifted even slightly due to the deformation of the housing casing 1o, the traveling direction of the light beam will change significantly due to this principle, and the light beam will It becomes impossible to accurately record the information contained in the image onto the photoreceptor 8.

(Means and effects for solving the problem) This invention has the following features:
A light source that emits a light beam containing information, a light beam deflection means that deflects the light beam in a predetermined direction and performs main scanning, an imaging lens system that focuses the light beam deflected by the deflection means, and a focusing lens system that focuses the light beam deflected by the deflection means. A light beam scanning device comprising a mirror for reflecting a light beam guided from an image lens system onto a photoreceptor, wherein the light source, the light beam deflection means, and the imaging lens system are housed and installed in at least an integrated housing housing. , and furthermore, a long hole is formed in the side wall of the accommodation housing located immediately after the imaging lens system, and extends along the main scanning direction of the light beam deflected by the light beam deflection means. When the light beam guided through the elongated hole formed in the mirror is guided to the photoreceptor through the mirror, the opening of the elongated hole for light beam guiding formed in the housing housing that accommodates the light beam scanning device. The area can be reduced, which improves the mechanical rigidity of the housing.

This light beam scanning V device 20 includes a light source 3 that emits a light beam (laser light) 2 containing information, a light beam deflection means 4 that deflects the light beam 2 emitted from the light source 3, and a light beam deflection means 4 that deflects the light beam 2 emitted from the light source 3. An imaging lens system 7 for condensing the deflected light beam 2 is fixedly installed at a predetermined position within an integral housing casing 21 . This housing casing 21 has reinforcing ribs 21a formed therein to surround each component of the deflection device 20. Further, a long hole 21c of a predetermined length is formed in the side wall 21b of the imaging lens system 7 located immediately after the lens 6 along the main scanning direction of the light beam 2. The length of the elongated hole 21c is made slightly longer than the main scanning distance proportional to the optical path length of the light beam 2 from the light beam deflection means 4 to the side wall 21b. It is obvious that this main scanning distance increases in proportion to the optical path length of the light beam 2 with respect to the light beam deflection means 4. On the other hand, a housing 22 is formed integrally with the housing 21 at the rear of the storage housing 21 along the optical path of the light beam 2, and a mirror 9 is disposed within the housing 22 to form the image. Light beam 2 guided from lens system 7
is reflected onto the photoreceptor 8. The bottom surface of the casing 22 is covered with a lid 23, as shown in FIG. 2 along the BB cross section in FIG. 1, and is placed and fixed on the top surface of the optical recording apparatus main body 12. In addition, the reference numeral 24 in FIG. 2 is the mirror 9.
This is a second mirror that guides the light beam 2 guided from the photoreceptor 8 to the surface of the photoreceptor 8. The cover body 23 located below this mirror 24 has a long hole 23 along the main scanning direction of the light beam 2.
a is formed, and this elongated hole 23a is covered with a transparent dustproof member (not shown).

According to the light beam scanning device 20 having such a configuration, the light source 3, the light beam deflection means 4, and the imaging lens system 7 are housed and installed in the integrated housing casing 21, and are located immediately after the imaging lens system 7. A long hole 21c is formed in the side wall 21b of the housing casing 21 along the main scanning direction of the light beam 2 deflected by the light beam direction stage 4, and the light beam 2 guided through the long hole 2IC is directed to the mirror 9. Since the photoreceptor 8 is guided through the housing casing 21, the length and area of the long hole 21G for guiding the light beam 2 to be formed in the housing casing 21 can be reduced, and therefore the mechanical rigidity of the housing casing 21 can be reduced. It will improve.

In the above embodiment (FIG. 2), the lid 23 is attached to the bottom of the casing 22 in which the mirror 9 is housed, and the second mirror 24 is installed inside the lid 23. The present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, but as shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 3, in which the same parts as in FIG.
The bottom surface of the housing 22 may be placed and fixed directly on the top surface of the optical recording apparatus main body 12 without using the lid 23 and the second mirror 24. In addition, in order to improve the dust-proof shielding ability inside the housing case 21, the elongated hole 21c is filled with a transparent dust-proof material (for example, transparent glass or hard coating) as shown in FIG. 4, in which the same parts as in FIG. It may be sealed with a polymeric material (25) coated with

[Effects of the Invention] According to the present invention, since the elongated hole for light beam output formed in the housing housing of the light beam scanning device can be formed small, the rigidity of the housing housing is increased, and therefore, it is resistant to external forces. It is an object of the present invention to provide an optical recording device in which information contained in a light beam is accurately formed on a photoreceptor by reducing deformation of a housing casing as much as possible, and thereby stably maintaining initial performance. I can do it.
