PURPOSE:To uniformly finish a cut face by supporting a cutting edge which is revolved along the end face of a rectangular pipe swingably in the radial direction of said rectangular pipe and energizing said cutting edge toward the rectangular pipe by using the expansion/contraction of a spiral spring. CONSTITUTION:A cutting edge 3 which revolves along the outer periphery of the end face of a rectangular pipe 1 while rotating is provided in a beveling device. The cutting edge 3 is strongly pressed against the end face 2 of the rectangular pipe 1 by the energizing force of a spiral spring 5 via an arm 4. The cutting edge 3 is formed into a tapered shape so as to give a taper-form beveling to the end face 2. Further, the cutting edge 3 can be smoothly revolved along the outer peripheral face of the rectangular pipe 1 by means of a guide roller 6.
