本発明は光を利用した画像形成装置、さらに詳しくは、
感光性物質を露光する事により転写物質の転写性を制御
し、画像形成を行う感光転写型画像形成装置における画

カプセル内の光硬化性物質を硬化させ、次に感光体の露
光面と転写用紙を密着し、圧力をかける事により硬化し
なかった光硬化性物質を含むマイクロカプセルを破壊し
、同じマイクロカプセルに含まれている色材を転写用紙

前述した画像形成系では、感光性物質は、一般に光エネ
ルギーの大きい短波長域に感度ピークを有する様な固有
の分光感度特性を持ち、可視光領域における感度が低く
なっており、可視光光源による露光では露光時間が長く
なるという欠点、及び、露光時間を短くするためには出
力の大きな光源が必要であるという欠点があった。本発
明は、」−記問題点を解決()た良好な画像形成系を提
案するものであり、その目的とするところは光源の出力

いう効果を有する。さらに感光体を支持しレンズと感光
体との距離を一定に保ち高い解像度の画像がが得られる
