Oya stone is a famous stone that is cut and produced from underground layers in the Oya region of Tochigi Prefecture, and its origins date back to a time when most of the Japanese archipelago was underwater, with some parts protruding above the sea surface, and long cracks in the bedrock formed. Oya stone is said to be formed by the volcanic ash and gravel of numerous rhyolitic breccias (quartz trachytes) ejected from the eye, which precipitated in seawater and solidified. The stone has strong fire and earthquake resistance, excellent dryness and moisture resistance, is light in weight (specific gravity 1.99), and is easy to process. It has a wide range of uses as a stone for civil engineering and construction, and its demand in Japan is increasing year by year. In particular, the bluish pattern immediately after it is produced from the underground layer is elegant and highly preferred as a building material and decorative material, and can be used for many purposes such as civil engineering construction, sports facilities, stone walls, gateposts, entrances, ponds, etc. used in

The highly decorative pattern of Oya stone is made of white tuff with a bluish tinge of ferric iron (Fe-5On・nH2O).
The color tone changes over time from the time it is mined from the underground layer and comes into contact with the air, and it also undergoes a process of weathering, making it durable as a building material and decorative material. and its beauty was in demand.

Furthermore, as the demand for Oya stone has increased, the resources of Oya stone are limited, and there is a risk of shortage year after year. Some methods have been devised, such as attaching it to the surface of the base material.

However, when using Oya stone as a decorative material, due to the brittle nature of the tuff, it may break during work or cause slight warping after a long period of time. Oxidation progresses due to the increased surface area associated with the plate-like mottled pattern unique to stones, which promotes discoloration and weathering.

[Means and effects for solving the problem] The present invention has been made in view of the above, and it is possible to change the color tone of the surface of Oya stone that has already been constructed or cut out to the user's favorite color or the color tone of any part. In order to maintain this, stop weathering, further increase the breaking strength of the plate-shaped Oya stone, and prevent warping.
To provide a plate-shaped Oya stone whose surface is coated with a transparent synthetic resin at any location during the color tone change process of the Oya stone surface.

Block-shaped Oya stone, which is excavated from pewter or previously laminated rock buried in the underground layer, by open pit or inland trenches, contains a large amount of water, and contains the aforementioned white tuff with bluish ferric iron ( This mottled pattern is caused by the moisture drying up when exposed to the air and changing to brownish ferric iron (Fe (OH) 504) over time. The mottled pattern has a brownish tinge, and the overall color tone becomes darker. As oxidation progresses further, ferric iron changes to Fe (OB) 3
Alternatively, it is corroded by Pe2(Sot)3 and falls off, and the surrounding tuff weathers, making it impossible to maintain the original shape of the block material.

Therefore, according to the present invention, FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which a group of blocks on a reference plane are formed by digging down the quarry plane vertically and horizontally with predetermined gaps in a raw stone quarry that reaches several tens of meters underground. The stone is cut into the required dimensions from the standard surface, and cut into a predetermined plate shape according to the use of the stone decorative material as a building material using an automatic block cutting device or the like that can maintain the elegance of Oya stone. The stone 1 and the entire surface +a) or one side of the stone 1 (bl is a two-component solvent-type urethane-acrylic resin (or dispersion-type water-based urethane resin dispersion) in which xylene and ethyl succinate are mixed in a 1:1 ratio. The synthetic resin 2 is uniformly applied to the surface of Oya stone by using a brush or dipping it in the solvent.

On the other hand, in the case of immersion, the coating amount is determined by the immersion time of the stone and the lifting speed. If the resin coating amount/stone weight is about 1.3 to 1.7% and left at room temperature for 24 hours, it will become transparent and uniform. A special coating was applied.

When such a coating is applied, the above-mentioned stage of color change in which ferric iron changes to ferric iron and the stage of weathering from ferric iron are completely inhibited, and the stone retains its original bluish tinge. It can prevent weathering while maintaining the original color tone.

Figure 3 shows an example of the use of plate-shaped Oya stone with the surface coating shown in Figures 1 and 2 as a building material or decorative material.
In a), adhesive 6 is applied to the back side of the plate-shaped Oya stone whose entire surface is coated with synthetic resin as shown in FIG. An adhesive 6 is applied to the opposite side of the coated plate-shaped Oya stone and it is attached to a construction base material 7.

In order to compare the strength of the plate-shaped Oya stone with the synthetic resin surface coating and the plate-shaped Oya stone without the coating, a fulcrum was placed at the square of the plate-shaped Oya stone of the same size, and a load was applied to the center. As a result, Oya stone coated with solvent-based urethane/acrylic resin had a large supporting load, and it was possible to obtain plate-shaped Oya stone with clearly high breaking strength.

As explained above, according to the plate-shaped Oya stone whose surface is coated with the synthetic resin of the present invention, since the transparent synthetic resin is coated on the surface of arbitrary parts during the color tone change process of the Oya stone surface, the surface of the Oya stone has already been constructed. Alternatively, the color tone of the surface of the cut Oya stone can be set to the user's preference, or the fracture strength at any location can be increased to prevent this.
