Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a ring-shaped resonator by constituting a line element of the ring resonator mounted on a plane onto a coaxial or semi-coaxial dielectric. CONSTITUTION:A ground conductor 202a is metallized to an inner circumferential face 202 of a cylindrical dielectric 201, and two ring-shaped strip lines 301, 302 opened to an outer circumferential face 203 are provided. A coaxial dielectric 201 is fixed on a base as a support by a conductor bonding agent 206 such as solder. Moreover, capacitors 303, 304 mounted on the open end of ring-shaped strip lines 301, 302 or input/output coupling capacitors 305, 306 are connected by connection patterns 204, 205 provided to the supporting plate 203. Thus, the miniaturization is attained while decreasing the dielectric loss and conductor loss.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the circuit configuration of these filters, in order to ensure the required attenuation characteristics, which are the basic performance of the filter, it is necessary to select materials with low dielectric loss and conductor loss, or to change the number of resonator stages. However, there are limits to the characteristics of the former choice of material, and the attenuation characteristics can be achieved by increasing the number of stages of the latter, but the shape of the filter becomes large, making it difficult to downsize. becomes difficult.

The present invention achieves miniaturization, which is a problem in multi-stage configurations of resonators, through the above-mentioned configuration, and at the same time, during manufacturing, it is possible to reduce the size of the coaxial or semi-coaxial dielectric by first coating the entire surface with a conductor. However, the line can be easily constructed by making a circular cut with a certain width in the dielectric conductor and providing a slit in the circular line.
