The method of detecting the position of the printing paper is to detect the end face of the printing paper 14 using an infrared sensor 30 or the like as shown in FIG.
The paper is fed by a certain amount to the printing start position using the platen 31 and the paper pressing roller 32, and then printing is performed using the printing head 16 in synchronization with the paper feeding.

There is a problem in that uneven printing tends to occur due to uneven paper feeding from the beginning of printing. Further, in a printing device that does not hold printing paper inside the main body, there is a problem in that it is difficult to detect the paper position, and printing cannot be performed accurately in synchronization with the paper position. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention solves the above problems, and uses ruled lines or markers preprinted on printing paper, a separately prepared transparent sheet, or markers in a printing device. This method uses a method in which the image is read and printed in synchronization with the image. [Example] The details of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1st
The figure is a schematic diagram showing an embodiment of the present invention. 11 is a light source such as a light emitting diode (not shown, but many are arranged parallel to the light receiving element array); 12 is an imaging optical system in which a large number of convergent light transmitters are arranged in an array; A light receiving element array (close contact or long image sensor) is arranged to receive reflected light from the printing paper 14 via the imaging optical system 12. 15 is a ruled line on the printing paper 14, and 16 is a printing head. In this embodiment configured as described above, the light receiving element array 13 detects l! on the printing paper 14. 'j, ll$15 can be detected, the position and amount of movement of the ruled line can be detected, and printing can be performed by the printing head 16 in synchronization with this signal. Also, ruled lines on printing paper are printing paper! Even if it is not the second method, there is a method of placing markers on a transparent sheet separate from the printing paper and reading it by placing it on the printing paper, or a method in which markers are arranged on a transparent sheet separately from the printing paper and read. A similar effect can be obtained by providing a portion that does not move, placing a marker there, and reading the marker. [Effects of the Invention] As described above, according to the present application, even if the printing device does not hold the printing paper inside the printing G: printing that is accurately synchronized with the paper position can be performed. Also, by rewriting the printing frame on the printing paper,
It also has the advantage of being able to print accurately at the f1 position. Furthermore, even when the printing paper is scanned several times by PI in order to print multicolor data, the printing position can be accurately adjusted each time. Furthermore, when reading a marker and generating a synchronization signal for printing, it is also possible to easily enlarge or reduce the size of the print by changing the frequency division ratio.
