This has the disadvantage that when it is peeled off from the surface of the electronic component, adhesive remains at the edges, contaminating the electronic component list.

ものである。Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention provides a novel method for manufacturing a surface protection material for small articles that solves the drawbacks of the prior art. The above-mentioned film of the non-adhesive layer portion of the protective material original fabric is adhered to the film-like material with the adhesive J- regularly and discontinuously interposed to form the non-adhesive layer portion on the film-like material. The method consists in making a cut in the film-like material along the vicinity of the adhesive layer to form a protective material for the surface of the small article, and then removing the film-like material from other parts.
