Conventionally, rain gutters made of vinyl chloride resin have generally been used, but rain gutters made of vinyl chloride resin have the disadvantage of not having very high strength and being easily deformed by heat.

Conventionally, for example, as described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 37-3571 (see Fig. 3), the inner and outer surfaces of the semicircular gutter main body 1' made of a metal plate are bonded to a desired thickness using an adhesive. It has been proposed that the resin board 2' be covered and tightly adhered, but when cutting it to an appropriate length with scissors or forming a drainage hole, the shape of the gutter and ear edges must be adjusted at the time of cutting. The semicircular gutter main body 1' made of metal plate and synthetic resin may be deformed and it takes time to restore it to its original shape. The problem was that the gap between the plate 2' and the plate 2' peeled off, and rust occurred in that area, resulting in poor durability.

The present invention was made with the aim of solving the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and its gist is that glass rovings are embedded in a synthetic resin along the longitudinal direction at intervals in the width direction. of the plate,
The rain gutter has a glass roving formed along the longitudinal direction, and the unburied portion thereof is bent to form a gutter-like portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section.

FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing an embodiment of the present invention.
Along the longitudinal direction of the plate body A', which is embedded as a core material 2, glass rovings 21 are fixed with adhesive or resin 22 along the longitudinal direction at intervals in the width direction in the synthetic resin 1. A portion 22 in which the glass roving 21 formed by ... is not buried

As the fixing adhesive, for example, synthetic resin adhesives such as acrylic resins, polyester resins, epoxy resins, and phenolic resins, and rubber adhesives are preferably used. The form of the adhesive depends on the characteristics of each resin. Depending on the situation, hot melt systems, solution systems, emulsion systems, etc. are used.

In order to manufacture the rain gutter A of the above embodiment, a flat core material 2 is created in advance by arranging glass rovings 21 at intervals and fixing them with adhesive or resin 22, and then co-extruding them. Then, a plate body A' coated with synthetic resin 1 is formed around the core material 2, and a portion 22 where the glass rovings 21 formed along the longitudinal direction of this plate body A' are not buried.
1, 221 is bent to form a rain gutter having a gutter-like portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section.

In addition, as in the above embodiment, the glass roving 2

Since the rain gutter of the present invention has the above-mentioned structure, it has high strength such as rigidity and impact resistance, and is resistant to expansion, contraction, and deformation due to heat, etc., and can be cut to an appropriate length with scissors, etc., to drain water. When performing construction by forming a mouth, the shock during cutting will not cause cracks or the synthetic resin will peel off, and the curved part of the gutter-shaped part can be cut with scissors because no glass roving is embedded. It is easy to remove, and the bent part of the gutter-like part is formed with good dimensional accuracy and a clean appearance.
